Cort and Ibanez...how the hell can you even compare the two...
All real Ibanez are made at the Fujigen factory...and as far as I know only Ibanez get made there. While Cort just make loads and loads of copies for all the cheaper low end guitars of all the other companies along side Samick.
£300 is about right for a Cort anyway. if you compared an RG to ur cort ud probz find they wer fairly similar but dnt ask me why i just like the way ibanez guitars sound. i can pick up any RG and like it.
It's all about preference, I'm sure if you compaired a £400 ibanez to a £400 cort, you'd find parallels and differences, I got mine (worth £400) for £300, so compair it to a £300 Ibanez, and I felt that the cort came out on top, but then, you can pick up a gibson and find that it just doesn't sit right, then find a fender that feels great, as I said, its all personal preference.
cort are overpriced seein as its virtualy the same parts as ibanez . and ok ur cort may be an exception or the one i played may be an exception but tbh i like ibanez better.
Cort and Ibanez are fine, There the same company, so there like sisters
Just that Ibanez is the Hot chick with black hair and a Necrophagist shirt
and cort is a hot blonde chick in a Metallica shirt.
What are you on about loose pickups for? Mine are fine, never had a problem with any part. Sure, if the cort YOU found had loose pickups or w/e, thats a good enough reason to avoid it, but the one I got worked perfectly, and has since.
This is just "my brand is better than your brand" -.-
aye greg so tell me how can a cort superstrat (which had loose pickups that wernt level) be exactly like an ibanez but more expensive? i bought the ibanez mainly coz i felt it was better than the cort and it being cheaper was a bonus. cort basses are very sound tho.
According to the dealer, uk corts and ibanez's are made using the same parts, in the same place too...
Can't say I've played the featured counterpart... but the cort gives a really rich tone, and its versatile, having a coil tap.
I own a cort
iv played a cort obv haha
Has anyone here actually played a Cort...?
