About Me

Me, Myself, and I
Welcome to Streets Ahead P Town, this project was created by residents of Miranda Street in Cannons Creek Porirua. We decided to take our neighbours to Maraeroa Marae to learn about health, safety, education and other workshops conducted by community leaders.

Our message is simple and that is to create a safe environment for our people to prosper. Recently we have targeted youth of all ages and ethnicity in addition to those young people in gangs. Our message when working with our youth who are the future of our community is simply this BROTHERS NOT COLOURS.

We encourage all our people to enjoy and become part of the family that is Streets Ahead. Their is a saying that it takes a whole village to raise a child. Streets Ahead is the beginning of grass roots people who are committed to creating the village.

      WE LOOK TO EXIT MARAEROA MARAE HEALTH CLINIC IN 2010 AND FOLLOW THE DREAM OF TRUE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GOVERNED BY THE PEOPLE.
