- Worship. Rock. Techno(logy).Three words that don’t seem to fit very easily into the same sentence. Its just as well we aren’t confined to sentences. The music of Bluetree is an experience. This experience may well be loud, bold and energetic. It may also be soft and so quiet you can hear the heart beat of the person beside you . You may be blown away by the powerful thud of the kick drum or the hypnotic wail of the electric guitars. However, if this is all you experience then your time with us may very well have been wasted. Through all the noises and beats, all the melodies and harmonies, what we want you to experience is the overwhelming presence of God. We want you to forget the lights, the stage and the hundreds of people around you. Forget the sound system that is assaulting your body with so much bass you feel like your being punched in the chest. We invite you to lose yourself in worship. Worship of the Almighty.

Stand Out International Press Release
Bands come together to raise money for Belfast charity fighting child sex trade
A Belfast band who this month topped the US Christian charts – without ever having played in America – are to launch a charity to fight the child sex trade.
Appropriately, Bluetree, a 5-piece Christian rock outfit, will launch the charity - Stand Out International - with a pounding concert at Belfast's Waterfront Hall on May 1.
The band visited Pattaya, capital of the Thai sex trade, on a church mission 3 years ago and that trip fuelled a burning passion to end the exploitation they saw at first hand, where children as young as eight are sold for sex.
After playing in a Pattayan sex bar, the group composed God of This City, and a line from the song lent its name to the band's album, Greater Things.
Lead singer Aaron Boyd says that the band aren't motivated by wealth or fame – they want to help change people's lives.
He says: “We returned change from Pattaya, the centre of the Thai sex trade, we were changed. Something deep inside was different. Whenever you sit back and imagine some of your friends or children being sold into the most horrific industry it moves you in a way that is more than just emotion.”
Out of that determination to make a difference for the voiceless in Thailand and in other scenes of exploitation around the world, Stand Out International was born.
Aaron adds: “We realised that there is so more to what we, as a band, do and in the same breath more for the Christian Church to achieve when looking at this global problem.
“We believe that when people worship they encounter the genuine heart of God for all humanity.
“From His platform of love we are propelled into a future that serves the needs of others and we ultimately become a voice for those who have no voice.
“Off the back of it all – the touring, the sales and royalties – we’re going to be able to support plenty of different projects that help transform lives that would otherwise be trapped. “
The May concert will also feature performances from Belfast-based worship leader Robin Mark and Ryan Griffith.0 Comments 219 days

GREATER THINGS CD for $13.98 INCLUDING SHIPPING!!
At the moment our CD isn't out in the shops in America (we're working on it!). Part of the problem is one UK pound is worth $1.83 (as I type this) which mean that if you buy a CD from us it costs you too much. So, what we're doing is this - we're offering an EXTREME discount on the CD for all international customers. So instead of $25 for the CD and shipping, we're offering it for $13.98 INCLUDING shipping! So now you have no excuse not to own one yourself!
Just visit our shop here:
http://www.bluetreeonline.co.uk/store/
You'll see the CD at normal price, but when you get to the shipping part of the checkout you'll see the discount applied to your order.
This is ONLY AVAILABLE WHILE STOCKS LAST!!!!!0 Comments 450 days
