Since 2003, singer/songwriter BENJI MARTIN has been honing his talents at open mic nights at such places as the Red Eye Grill in High Point, NC, and Borders Books and Music and the Flatiron in neighboring Greensboro. His performance career began in elementary school where he started to sing and dance in assemblies and PTA meetings.

Benji got his first guitar at age 10 and began writing songs more than a decade later.

Currently, the Thomasville native is studying Entertainment Technology at Guilford Technical Community College in High Point.

Other artists that Benji has worked with include James Lawson, Risynfast's Crystal Franklin the Incomplete's Mat Weiser, and Vel Indica's Patrick Ferguson.

Benji's gear includes a Rogue 12-string acoustic guitar, an Epiphone SG Special, a Cort Viola Bass, a Shure PG-58 microphone, and Peavey amplification.
