- BELSONIC, located in Custom House Square in Belfast, and running from 11th – 16th August, will comprise a series of one-day, large scale out-door events, delivering all the atmosphere of a music festival in the most urban and convenient of settings, and presenting an unprecedented opportunity for a Northern Irish audience to get this close to some of the worlds’ largest artists, while basking in this warmth of this bespoke location.
BELSONIC's opening night will feature a headline performance from multi Platinum selling, and Grammy Award winning, U.S. alternative rock band THE FLAMING LIPS,
On the 14th August, The Enemy will dawn the stage at Belsonic as the headline act.
The 15th August will see the Zutons at the top of the bill. Their boisterous, hook-laden music has scored them a string of hit singles, and should provide a perfect summer evening party soundtrack at BELSONIC

Mystery Jets cancel, Kowalski Step in
Bangor band Kowalski will replace Mystery Jets at Belsonic Festival in Belfast this Friday.
An official statement confirmed that, as feared, Blaine is still recovering from a foot ailment and will not be ready in time for the eagerly awaited performance.
Speaking to ATL, Paddy from Kowalski, who will be kicking of events this coming Friday, revealed that they will be showcasing almost exclusively new material

This month sees Moon Harbour label head MATTHIAS TANZMANN join us at KALEIDA / RESONATE, this promises to be an amazing showcase of some of the best deep house and techno out there at the moment...
From the beginning Matthias' musical output has revolved around more than just functional club music. Combining subtle arrangements that ride the deep vibes that lie between House and Techno, yet never forgetting the drive for the dance floor- that is what Matthias Tanzmann’s music is about.
If you seen this guy in action at the now infamous Circo Loco Parties at dc10 terrace in Ibiza you wiill know that it's not to be missed...
Also on the bill is one of Belfast's most in demand DJs, SEÑOR G, with his slick blend of jackin' house cuts...
This is one of the strongest line-ups we've put on and we hope you can all make it down to kick things off in 2009...
