Beaver Bulletin #63: It's Too Dam Hot
It's at times like this I'm glad I work in a river, let me tell you. The sun has been beating down mercilessly, and I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm basically wearing a fur coat here, and they haven't invented a sun cream which works on beaver tails yet, so it's not a happy time for us.
Mind you, at least I don't have sensitive teeth. My uncle Bugs (don't ask, his parents were big cartoon fans, but not the sharpest teeth on the stump) can't eat ice-pops without getting a shooting pain in his front fangs. Have you ever heard a beaver scream? I have.
Anyway, I have spent most of the past week either floating in the river or lying on the dam, sighing and leaving a perfect rodent-shaped sweat-patch behind whenever I get up. Classy, non?

Beaver Bulletin #61: Bye bye Jacko
We're all still reeling from the news that Michael Jackson - the king of pop - has died.
The whole world knew his name and don't think his influence fell short of the Beaver community.
When I was a young pup I learnt how to build damns listening to The Man In The Mirror - or as I like to remember it "The Damn In The Mirror". We used to moonwalk whist gnawing on pieces of wood and my paw was often seen donning a sequin glove. It's sad news indeed.

Beaver Bulletin #61: It's a Prom-Com
Greetings from Beav-world,
I am aware than many of you will have been attending proms, or have a prom coming up. In fact, the 5:19 Show actually had
their own prom this week (http://www.bbc.co.uk/switch/videos/0..., so it's fair to say it's the season for social events.
Sadly, beavers are too committed to the art of dam-making and foraging for snacks to arrange any large formal gatherings, but I tell you now, if we DID, I'd be doing my beaver dating dance in front of those cool, strangely aloof West Bank beavers. They'd be all like "who is that super furry animal?" and I'd be all like "tell me about it, I'm gnawsome!".
Hmm...maybe next year, when the mud is dried on the north dam... *sigh*

there was this game thing that used to be on your site (or i got to it from your site)
