I'm good thanks, I'm a bit sleepy.

But's it 2.15pm! So what have been up to for the last three years?

Well, when you come out of the House you go to nightclubs and do loads of PAs. You meet other housemates and they say: "I'm working on my album". The only album they're working on is a sticker album. You have a year or so of that and it's a good laugh. But I'm not that busy right now. Well look at me, I'm getting up at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. It's been a lot of Jeremy Kyle and This Morning for a couple of years.

Sounds brill. Anything else?

I got really fat for a while. That was nice.</b>

Lovely. Was that when you went out with Saskia?

Well, we rented a flat together for six months after the show ended and decided we got on. Then we bought a place - and decided we didn't get on! That was a good move.

We were getting paid to go out and get drunk. And we lived above a McDonald's. So we just got fat together. I'm alright now though. I'm slim again and I've got a tan, so at the moment I look a bit like a pepperami.

Tasty.

Yeah, chicks dig it.

So when did you and Saskia split up?

About 18 months after we left the House. But we carried on living together for a year after that - which was fun!! We had a dog together so we stayed together for him. But he could tell there was tension in the house.

What a sad end to a beautiful Big Brother romance. Is the House a good place to pull?

It's probably one of the best places to pull in the world. Birds can't get away from you. They can't even call the police. So it's great.

Dale was trying pretty hard to pull Jen. What advice would you give him?

Well it's good to pull, but don't ever get in a relationship with anyone. If I hadn't got with Saskia, I would have definitely won that show. It was because people didn't like her. If it wasn't for that I would have had a couple of hundred grand in my back pocket and chicks would have been all over me. As it is, chicks aren't all over me and I'm skint.

There are some nice new ladies in there though . . .

They're doing the same to Dale as they did to me. When Saskia left they put Orlaith in, who was well fit. I felt I couldn't be friends with her because I didn't want it to look like I was trying to crack on to her. I've seen the way Dale is with the new girls, he's not talking to them much. That's exactly what I was like. My advice would be: "Look mate, don't mug yourself off. Don't be a drip like I was."

So should Dale and Stuart try to pull or not?

They should probably get with one of the birds and make a bit of money, but nothing serious. Stay single and enjoy it. You get treated like royalty when you come out, especially up north. They love it. Saying that, those two have got about as much personality as my big toe.

But Dale genuinely liked Jen - and you really liked Saskia too. Is there something about the House environment that gets people loved-up?

Yeah, you do get really close to people really quickly in there. I became a drip and I can see Dale doing the same.

Do you like this year's housemates?

They're good looking, but they're too boring. They don't seem to have a laugh. I quite like Darnell. Rex is all right but last time I watched he was boring everyone senseless talking about restaurants. I wouldn't have got on with Belinda or Dennis. All these theatrical people, dancing around. It would have done my head in. Our year was the best one.

Can you see another romance like yours?

I can't really see it, unless something happens with Dale and Jennifer when he gets out. I think she'll want to get with him because he'll be more popular.

Has the show been kind to you, Maxwell? Would you like to go back?

Definitely. I wouldn't change it for the world. If they asked me to do it again - naked, I'd do it! In fact, if they invited any other ex-housema

Davina: Were you to be evicted?

Mario: It was a tough shot to call. You never know who's gonna win and who's gonna lose.

Davina: Your Fan Club... where were they?

Mario: (Laughing) I haven't got a fan club.

Davina: Who do you think nominated you?

Mario: Rex, Mohamed... B Block.

Mario and Davina watched the nominations that led to his eviction.

Davina: Any surprises? Were you surprised Rachel didn't nominate you?

Mario: Yeah.

Davina: She loved you. She thought you were a really nice guy.

Mario does not reply.

Davina: Ricky Gervais is a fan. Any idea why that may be?

Mario: No . . .

Mario and Davina watch a clip spoofing 'The Office' in which Mario bears an uncanny resemblance to David Brent.

Mario: (Laughing) I still can't figure out what you're getting at.

Davina: What was the deal with the Health and Safety?

Mario: It was initially about Mikey. I was very passionate about that.

Davina: How frustrating was it being with younger, less experienced housemates?

Mario: Not everyone was less experienced... like Rex The Chef.

Davina: You love Rex.

Mario: (Laughing) I do. He's on my Christmas Card list.

Davina: You and Lisa were very physical... you spend your whole life exfoliating..

Mario: We've got more skins than an onion.

Davina: Was it hard to get intimate in the House?

Mario: It was just the puppet shows. They were pretend.

Davina: It must've been hard.

Mario: It was hard, yeah.

Davina: Very hard?

Mario: (Laughing) That's a leading question...

Davina: This week, for the first time since you went in, you had a pop at Lisa. Why was that?

Mario: I'm very protective of her. She washes up and does everything. She doesn't see everything else that's going on.

Davina: Who do you want to leave next?

Mario: Belinda. Her heart's in the right place but her snoring isn't,

Davina: How would you sum up your time in the House?

Mario: When you walk through those doors it feels amazing. For me, personally... fantastic.

Davina: Any regrets?

Mario: No regrets. I did the Health and Safety for Mikey.

Davina: Mikey was fine without you for years before this.

Mario: But he hasn't been in the House before.

Davina: One last question. Mario. Have you ever been to Italy?

Mario: (Laughing) No.

How are you Ziggy?

I've had a great year. I've been very lucky. I've had the chance to go travelling with work because of Big Brother. I look back and I have no regrets whatsoever. It's been a lot of fun.

What is it like living in the House?

It's hard. It's tiny. It is a claustrophobic environment.

Did you feel you went in as 'The House Heartthrob'?

I was put in a position that went against me. People immediately thought "who the hell does he think he is? He's going in with ten girls, he must think he's something special." It wasn't like that. Actually, that's a bit like Stephanie this year, she was put in a tricky position.

How did that affect your behaviour in the House?

I was extremely self-conscious... which is not how you should be in the House.

Do you think Dale and Stuart are in the same position?

Yes and no. They are both attractive guys but because I was put in with only girls it's completely different. With those two there are similarities between Liam and I but we didn't really have that rivalry. We got on.

Would you get on with them?

I don't really know. I thought Dale would be a bit more lively and have a bit more to say. They're just normal lads, I'm sure I'd get on with them.

Is Dale genuinely attracted to Jennifer?

It's hard to for me to say if it's real or not. You want company in the House. It's an uncomfortable place.

What advice do you have for anyone in a relationship in the House?

The biggest problem is worrying what people on the outside think of you. Dale said: 'I think Jennifer's trying to make a mug of me'. You shouldn't care what people think. People see through it. They saw through me. I didn't realise I showed it that much. My friends said I should have let myself go a bit.

Could you give any advice to Darnell, Luke, Michael, Mohamed, Rex to improve their chances with the ladies in the House?

I think they need to improve their chat a bit don't they? (Laughs.) That's it. Simple as.

Do you think Stuart would move in on Lisa now that Mario is evicted?

Ziggy: I don't think so. They have fitness in common but that's it. I haven't really sussed Stuart out yet. You would've thought he'd come in and make a massive impact but he's just settled in.

Do you have any tips for the housemates?

Just enjoy every moment. It's a great experience. Don't take yourself seriously. Be humble.

Do you have a favourite housemate?

Darnell seems nice guy. Mohamed's harmless. Mario's funny. He reminds me of David Brent. He's always got a bit of advice. Luke was my favourite but he's a bit too bitchy. As soon as he gets the chance he speaks about people behind their back. You can only do that for so long. The audience isn't stupid. You know what? Steph should've stayed. I'd choose her over loads of people in the House. Stuff would've happened with her in there.
