Remergence <remergence>
"Electronica, ambient and dance music, a relief of the senses, freedom and digital dreams"

Remergence first starting playing around with music via the trusty SoundTracker in the Amiga days and later moved up to the world of PCs with software such as FruityLoops, Reason and other software.
Remergence was officially started up in 1997 by Karen Woodham and early in 2002, Jake Jones joined Remergence as the production side of the group.
In 1999 the debut album "nocturnal entities (remastered)" was released following by "escape to paradise" in 2001, in 2002 Jake joined Remergence and the third album " futurism" was released after some experimental remixes and production from Jake.
During the early part of 2003 the fourth album "Wide Open Space" went into production with unused tracks from "Futurism" this album took a new route for Remergence with a fast dance and trance feel. It was released in October 2003.

  • New Album Update!

Hi JJ here with a little post

Just a quick update on the new album, I’ve been working quite a bit on the new tracks for the album, as Karen has been extremely busy on other projects, but she does pop round and “tweak” what I’ve done…

There are now several tracks which will be going on the album these include: Starlight, Probably, Rush of Blood to the Head, I’m a Fool, Lost Forever and Lighthouse. Karen and I are both planning to get another six or seven tracks added to the playlist, but I know that Karen has been working on another track similar to Continental Drift from the Standing in the Shadows album, but as of yet she’s thinking of cutting it down to a radio edit, or even just having it as a web/fan exclusive.

Some “fans” have been confused by the title of the new album, with a lot guessing what the title “Lux Lucis Quod Vis Somnium” actually means, so to put your minds at ease, it is Latin and translates in to “Lights and Natures Dreams”, so hopefully that will put a stop to some of the bizarre rumours going around on what the title means..

Until next time, be good to one another
