- G'day! Tourism Australia has created this page as a hub for people who are planning to visit, have visited, or simply have a great love for Australia. Here you’ll find tips on the working holiday visa for 18-30 year olds, which allows you to work and travel around the country for a year. We've also posted plenty of images and video that help capture the Australian working holiday experience. We welcome all those who have ever gone 'walkabout’ in Australia to share your comments.

Hey can't wait to see the results. Good luck everybody!
Rachael Downs.... you could try gapyear.com messageboards... they have a 'find a travel mate' one. you could also try joining a tour, gapadventures.com or letstrekaustalia.com or just go to perth and hopefully meet some cool people in your hostel that want to go similar places.
