While we're working on trying several different MODS and attempting our best with alternative themes behind the scenes, it may seem like GR is percolating without much action right now--when it couldn't be further from the truth.

A few members have been utilizing the flashchat and a handful more have posted new threads and signed up.

I am tickled pink that we've had these things happen. So long as some one continues to come I know that I'm not working for nothing, you know?

In the mean time, GR needs help.

Or, there's always word of mouth or recommendation. GR needs you.

Without you, GR is just another forum in the middle of no where--a truck stop along a huge stretch of the information highway with the occasional blip on the radar from souls passing in. Without you, GR is nothing. So we're asking that if you like us? Spread the word. Tell your friends, tell your friends friends, drop a link to those no longer on AOL and searching for another place to go. Put a quick little profile link in your bebo account; on your myspace, on your facebook, live journal, away message--anything helps. Ask people who you think may be interested and let them know GR exists.

No need to go crazy on our account :j We wouldn't want you to get banned or reported for spamming, we always like to respect fellow sites when it comes to advertising, whether just a link or a full out ad. I've been spending a lot of my time advertising Greater Realms lately.

Along those lines, I've also upped a Gold-for-posting system too! You can now earn "gold" for every post, choose whether you wish it to be IC or OOC, store the gold in a bank with interest, donate, shared, AND PICKPOCKET! xD

I can't wait until I can put in a shop mod and hopefully let users run their own shops.

Ladies and gents, as some of you may or may not know, the lovely SLWatson had graciously handed over Greater Realms to admin and maintain.

During that time I have made some changes, such as moving the board, members and posts to http://www.greaterrealms.2phatgeeks.com, and upgrading the board from phpBB2 to phpBB3.

In the coming weeks I hope to be able to install a working flashchat, a points/monetary system for posts and several "shops" for players to purchase fun things for their inventories. I sincerely hope to see a few of you there someday!
