ArtStrike is a Glasgow based band which formed in late 2007. The band has been meeting regularly for a while now and had our first gig on the 30/5/08 at a battle of the bands and won out of 5 bands!!
We have more gigs coming so get yourself there. You won't regret it!

  • Up and Coming Gigs

    We are now getting into the swing of thing and have several gigs scheduled over the next few months!
    if you look above this message you should see that we have a couple of gigs at the Barfly on the 10th and 28th of August and also the barrowlands 2 on the 12th September :)
    We're getting tickets for these events soon so anyone who wants to come please do
    and don't wait till we personally ask each and everyone of you!

  • We won Battle Of The Bands!

    Last night Artstrike played their first ever gig. It was a Battle Of The Bands in Newton Mearns Baptist Church and guess what?

    WE WON!

    Despite not being able to practise properly because of exams, losing my plug for my pedal 5 minutes before i was meant to go on and breaking a string half way through a song, we managed to beat 5 other bands and win £100 between us! Not a bad way to end your first ever gig! :D

    This is the beginning of something good. So keep a look out cos we will be legend... wait for it

    I tried to upload a rough demo with me singing to the profile but it wouldn't let me...
    Apparently "Lucy's Not A Dancer.mp3 is not an mp3 file." wtf...

    But it did let me upload on the myspace account so check there very soon!
