i should of written this yesterday (but didnt have time)
performances - wow
we performed yesterday 3 times instead of 2 which was stressful but luckily we had philippa on hand for all the costume changes
performances went well...
....but today's went much better our overall performances are definately improving !
we went to yearsley grove primary school to perform and were bac on the boat for this afternoons performance to clifton green - brill kids & great audience
workshops have been taking place after the performance which gets the kids on their feet and perform scenes considering what events could take place in the future whether it be the distant future or very near future !
the kids have come up with some really interesting ideas with the help of us the "cast" as colin always calls us

anyway one more to go tomorrow it will be rather sad to leave our boat after being there for nearly a week !! and then its the summer........

today we have been on the boat
its small in places - narrower yet longer than i thought and you cant feel it move considering we are on water !!
today we have been successful - progress has been made yet everyone still needs to learn lines ! me included
i feel the finishing are being made to characterisation - costume and the performance space, we needed to be actually on the boat to work it all out and yes its inventive - our form of staging but it works, it works well and all the children will be able to see us
work still to be done tomorrow - we need to work hard but im positive we will make the climb and the children will love it !!

well i've come back from the biology trip and what can i say..... a massive well done to the other actors in my company, the improvements they have made are amazing and the piece as a whole has come on such a lot whilst i've been away. A script has been produced, we are now tampering with it a little to make it perfect and characters have been established as well as developed especially my role as part of the troll - myself, amy and lizzie form the troll - we are covered in a thick black cloth with white netting for the mouth to open and close
jonny and alice have changed their names to Tommy and Tilly - characterisation has much improved as well as granny and all of the other minner characters
i can see this really shaping up now and i believe its going to be a huge success
now we need to learn our lines - sehr important !!!
