A reminder to everyone that an open meeting will be held where members of AMP, Quines Club, Skate Park, and generally all pupils of Buckie High School will be welcome to attend and discuss some ideas about the Buckie Festival 2009.
The meeting will be held at Buckie High School at 7 PM on Thursday 29th April in the cafe area near the office. Bring your friends and your imagination. Not your imaginary friends though...

Due to Mondays karaoke madness... Fiona and I forgot to mention that AMP will be closed on Monday 4th May due to the May Day Bank Holiday!! AMP will return on Monday 11th of May at the usual time!!

How the AMP Summer School Should Operate
• Five weeks starting Monday 13th July
• Weeks 1 to 4 – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
• Week 5 – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – Thursday and Friday: Gig
• Opening time 10.30 AM
• Closing time 4.30 PM
• AMP Summer School runs 18 hours per week

• Buckie High School
• Lady Cathcart
What will feature
• AM – Tutorial (Guitar Lessons, Drumming Lessons from 10.30 > 12.30)
• PM – Hands on practical activities (Recording, Lighting, Video 12.30 > 4.30)
Main Activities to Pursue
• Making music videos, to play at gig on big screens between band change over
• Recording CD with new bands, collaborative material and using existing material form ‘09
• Mentoring less experienced bands
• Sound and lighting workshops to run from start to finish

suppose your right daniel nae point in haeing a gig we one band, pointless, best focusing on the summer school and showcasing a gig to promote zee school of summer.
by that time a few mare bands will be up and running im sure and it shall be a success.

IMPORTANT AMP MESSAGE
So I'm looking for a bit of discussion about what we should do. As it's the week before May, exams are literally around the corner, so I'm suggesting if we have another gig, it should probably be the end of June to promote the Summer School '09.
RELATING TO AMP GIG ON 25th APRIL 09
Unfortunately One Night Stand have had to pull out of the gig on the 25th of April due to reasons out of their control. This leaves us with only Sulfire left to play. Even with just the two bands playing it seemed a little daft to do so until we had the DJ'ing idea thrown in.
It seems to me however that we now only have one AMP band. Hell... only ONE band at all now!!
I want to know what everyone thinks about the situation, and what you think we should do. However, I am thinking it's probably best to pull the gig for now.
