About Me

Me, Myself, and I
If you're afraid to forget......

Silent Transmission are a 4-piece Scottish rock band. We have been gigging extensively throughout Glasgow and surrounding towns for over a year now and have recorded a few of our songs in several studios all available below (live from Barrowlands 2 is also available). We have also recently recorded Don't Stop and Regret the Sentiment, two of our newest songs which we are very proud of, so feel free to roam around and have a listen, waste some time with us.Cheers

Ahoy. We've got a couple of shows coming up.

This Tuesday (11th) we're at Oran Mor on Byres Road for ASDA's Cash For Kids fundraiser. It starts at 7.30 and there are 5 acts altogether, The Kick among them. Tickets are a fiver and you can get them from us or from www.tickets-scotland.com

On Friday 21st we're at Varsova in Paisley for a free show. We're playing with Chaser and Marlow. Rock Radio have been plugging this one every day! So come, it'll be like Christmas, only it's a few days early and you can't keep the receipt.

    Cheers, see you shortly,
    Silent T.

  • All things nice these days!

I hear this monday we'll have a wee video and our recording of Amazing Grace. I'm really looking forward to it, even if it will be a little cringeworthy. In other news we've been hard at work writing new songs and I can safely say they're up there with our best whether you like us for songs like Heart-Stop or Tonight. One is definetly called Shadows, one might be called Deliberatly Lost and if you saw us play the Dilly you'll have heard us debut a song called Oxygen. There is also Unring the Bells that we've been working on for quite a while. So even if we've not been gigging your socks of recently we've been plugging away and should hopefully put on some nice, cider drenched summer shows for you. Cheers
    Michael

if u compare the recoring to ivorys, it is very poor. and to make it worse ivorys was CHEAPER. i could have made a better recording of the barras with my laptop and a mike!

Wasnt understanding "I think it was Dick" part of the Barras tracks introduction.. if its regarding playing - actually I did enjoy that gig I felt it went well... however thats an audience perspective maybe yous didnt feel the same. Also seems like a not too shady recording the sound man has done - good job to him.
