Fans of “Brew”, Darjeeling, Tiffin and magic; Alexis Blue, an indie/pop/electro band from the Northwest, are undisputedly on their way to big things.
With a wicked sense of humour and even more wicked riffs, their resulting sound is simply sublime; unique, tuneful indie guitar rock coupled with intelligent, thoughtful and often darkly comedic/ironic lyrics.
Alexis Blue have an impressive history including TV appearances, single releases, videos and high profile support slots alongside The Wombats, The Kooks, Noah & The Whale and countless more.
But it is the band members themselves who make Alexis Blue come alive. Having formed back in 2005, these four Merseyside lads can confidently say they have now discovered their true identity and are looking forward to big things to come; with the ultimate goal and desire to get people strutting their stuff on the dance floor ‘til the wee hours of the morning, Alexis Blue is proud to announce it’s all about the music.

New All Ages Liverpool Gig!!
We will be playing the o2 Academy 2 in Liverpool on 26th February 2010 supporting Coldplayer, a world leading tribute act, so it will be the closest we get to supporting Coldplay! We are the only support on the night so have a long set, should be an absolutely great night! Plus its an all ages gig so everyone is welcome! Freshers Week Gigs
First of all, thanks to all of you who came to see Tom’s first gigs back with us at Blackburn and Liverpool, we had a blast! For all you students, we’re playing a few gigs during Freshers week, starting at LJMU, via Manchester Met, and finishing at the UK’s biggest Freshers Festival in Birmingham, ‘Student Block Party’ with The Wombats and Tinchy Stryder. Coaches are going from uni’s all around the country and you can get your tickets from www.studentblockparty.com

ALEXIS BLUE - Personnel Change, Hello/Goodbye
Due to family commitments, we are sad to announce the departure of Chris from the band. We've had a fantastic two and a half years with him at the bass-helm and will be very sad to see him go. He'll nevertheless remain a big part of the whole Alexis Blue family.
When we first sat down and discussed what we were going to do once he had left. Over 3 years of being in close proximity to 2 other gentlemen means your sense of humour and general attitude becomes very refined, and as such - the new recruit had to be someone who 'got' the band. Then it hit us... Chris joined to replace Tom 'Carron' McCarron, who had left the country to get himself a degree in Psychology. How long does it take to get a degree? 2 and a half years! We got on the blower to him, and the rest is (will hopefully be?) history.
The first chance you'll get to see the new look Alexis Blue lineup perform will be on August bank holiday weekend, with gigs in Blackburn (28th) and Liverpool's Mathew St Festival (31st, FREE). So pop along to see the beginnings of a new blue era.
