LANDED is a Peer Education service. We train young people aged 16-22 from Lanarkshire to pass on information about drugs, alcohol and sexual health to other young people in the area.

We don’t tell people how to live their lives; we give them the facts so that they can make safer choices.

Someone talking about drugs and sexual health could be pretty boring so we try to make our workshops interesting. We use group work, games and other fun things to pass on the facts.

What is Peer Education?
It's simple:
Peer = Friends
Education = Learning
Peer Education = Learning from your friends other other people like you!
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering with LANDED can have lots of benefits:

and most importantly ... * You'll have fun!
What does the training involve?
Well...you'll learn about drugs, alcohol and sexual health - different types, effects and how to stay safe as well as learning more about peer education, challenging attitudes, your rights and so on. Chill - you wont be asked to deliver any training until you're ready, only you will know when that is and until then we will continue to support you!
