Me, Myself, and I
There was something strangely comforting about the mess of the apartment. Peeling wallpaper, alcohol-stained carpet, and the fishbowl; slowly collecting algae. The scattered fliers, with their text screaming out against the government reminded her of the good days. Cigarette butts littered the tabled and spilled out onto the floor, scenting the air with smoke and nicotine. It smelled like home.
Gloria collapsed onto the dusty coach. It was four in the morning and she had just gotten back from the bar. She hated it being stuck waiting on her drunken peers instead of leading them into battle as she once had. She remembered how she'd organize the riots… How she could transform the crowd of rejects and rebels into the true army that was The Underground. But all that was well before the incident. The incident that ruined her. Left her head in a mess. "¡Viva la Gloria!" They would paint those simple words along a dirty wall, and all of a sudden. She felt like a god..

I am not Gloria. Gloria is the character from the wonderful mind of Green Day frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong. I am not Gemma Arteton. I'd be way cooler if I was Her. This is Roleplay.. I used Gemma because I didn't like the girl Green Day used for Gloria. All lyrics on here have been copied by myself from the 21CBD Lyric book. All pictures of Gemma Arteton have been found by me. My profile was written by me. Steal ANY of it. I'll hunt you down and cut you up. Got it?

  • The very short story of Gloria

OOC; Anyone steals this. I will fucking brutalize. This took me ages to write out for School and the fact I've wrote this down on here makes me feel good. It's my GCSE work. DON"T TAKE

Sing us a song of the century, that's louder than bombs and eternity…

It all started with a song. The way he could sing it, is should have been the song of the century. But no one was there to hear it the first time, no one but me. Music, which had been outlawed by 2013, was the one thing that we all could agree was not evil. No matter what we were told, our family knew better. We knew the music would be the thing to set us free.

The era of static and contraband that's leading us to the promised land

I had been forced underground when I was three. My mother, you may know her as Whatsername, was one of the original resistance. She, and her best friends Saint Jimmy and the Jesus of Suburbia, tried to overthrow the tyrants overtaking the world under the guise of spreading peace. But that was when she was my age, a fresh adult just heading out into the world. Jimmy died, mom doesn’t really talk about him much unless she is singing his praises, and Jesus ran away.

Without her stronghold she was forced to go into the shadows, to wait for a new rebellion to join. That was where she met my father. He was killed when I was still a twinkle in my mother’s eye. My mother was the strongest person I knew, and she did a good job of raising me, living a normal life above ground, and running the underground below. That is, until someone ratted us out. I will never forget that night, young as I was. The knock on the door in the middle of the night, rushed whispers about escape routes, the furry as she packed all of my things first. And then the cold run. We made it just as the sun was coming up. I haven’t seen the sun since.

Tell us a story that's by candlelight: Waging a war and losing the fight

I’ve lived in East Jesus Nowhere, the cell of the rebellion my mother ushered me into, for fifteen years. I just graduated high school, if you can call our lessons of music and stealth real schooling, and am about to join the fight my mother and father died for. I am five foot four, with mid back length auburn hair and storm could grey eyes. I’m toned, I’ve been raised for combat. It is my destiny to lead the army against the evil king of America, to take back what is ours or to fall like all those before me.

They're playing the song of the century, of panic and promise and prosperity. Tell me a story into that goodnight…

My name is Gloria, and this is our story. It isn’t a happy one, but it’s one that needs to be told. I have to know that what we did wasn’t for not. Please, don’t think ill of us when you read our tragedy. Remember we suffered pains you could never understand in this war over sound. But there is one thing that I have to know will survive.

He has to survive, even if it is only in song and memory. His name was unknown, but everyone called him Christian because he, too, was a prodigy. He was the son of The Jesus of Suburbia, my mother’s friend and companion in the original uprising. So please, whoever is reading this. Tell our story to whoever you see, and know this above all else. While it is a tragedy, a horror story of war and all that entails, it is more importantly a love story. Or should I say, it is a love song.

Sing us a song for me…

"No Gloria, she's alive alright. Well and truely fucking alive." Peacemaker mumbled before glancing up towards Gloria again. "I would've never given up a child, you fucking know that!" He growled, stumbling back a little when he got shoved, but didn't go to make a grab for Gloria. He let out a shakey sigh before walking towards the bed and falling down on it. "He fucking left me, G. Jimmy fucking left and I have no fucking idea why. I thought he loved me and he fucking left.." He whispered, not really caring whether Gloria had heard him or not as he could hear her going downstairs, sniffling a little.

:] "He didn't." Jimmy replied rather shocked, Peacemaker was really starting to make him angrier by the second now. Green eyes lingered on her bruises before her hands went to touch them, he looked up at her face again shrugging his shoulders and moving a hand through his hair. "Because she had no where else to go, at the time we were in love I suppose." He said trying to rid his mind of her, she was nothing to him now, not even a memory. "Every place is exactly the same Gloria, why don't you stay with me until we figure out somewhere safe for you, where Peace won't hurt you. I know we don't get along, but Peace is a pure bastard for doing that to you." Jimmy glazed away again, looking behind him before hearing her speak oncemore. "I'm not sure what else I can do Gloria, except try to help you find somewhere and keep Peace away from you."

"If I broke your mothers promise, she'd know. She'd fucking come after me. I don't know why though, she fucking gave you up the moment you were born. You're more my daughter than hers. I fucking care about you Gloria, looking out for you like a father. I fucking held you every night when you got scared because of the wars going on outside. I've taught you things about how to live in this fucking world." Peacemaker's voice was a little calmer now, with even a hint of emotion behind it, but he kept his firm hold of Gloria. "And this is how I get repaid? You may be 18, but the real world would eat you up. Please Gloria, just stay away from him. He's not good enough for you.. He'll ruin your life.." He never wanted yo hurt Gloria, he probably wouldn't be able to forgive himself if he did. He let out a small sigh, stepping back a little but holding onto Gloria.

;; All good. :L ;; Jimmy never really understood Gloria, he never knew that her parent's had died, then again they hadn't really. There he was, Gloria's dad standing right infront of her. Not that he knew that he was related or course. "That's why you wanted me to stay away from Peace? Because he keeps hurting you? Why does he do that to you, I thought he loved you like his own daughter?" Jimmy never thought Peacemaker was capable of hurting anyone, especially whom he considered his little girl, so he guessed he could understand why she wanted his help. "She.. I see. Why sit there if he doesn't care?" He asked curiously, nodding as she spoke again, her looked down at his feet avoiding her teary eyes, he hated it when girls cried. It made him feel awkward. "And you want my help or to stay at my place?" He asked looking at her oncemore, questioningly.

Hearing her words, Peacemaker looked away for a second, before staring at Gloria again. "If that what it takes to stop you from seeing that.. That lump of shit.. Then yes.." He whispered darkly, keeping the eye contact as he tried to ignore her hand in his hair. "Why don't you just fucking listen to me Gloria, huh? Is it that bloody difficult?" He said a little quieter, though his voice still had a hint of anger. 2/2

Peacemaker glared at Gloria with his emerald eyes, growling a little as she mentioned Jimmy. "How fucking dare you. Jimmy has got nothing to do with this. I don't need protecting, I can do whatever the fuck I want. You fucking listen to me, I'm protecting you and I'm fucking telling you now that Christian is bad news whether you like it or not. I DO NOT want to see you two together again, YOU FUCKING HEAR ME?!" He spat, moving his face threateningly closer to Gloria's, his eyes squinted a little. "You wouldn't fucking dare, I'd never let you out of this building again." He made sure his body was so tight against hers so that she couldn't move from his grasp. 1/2

;; They're all good, sorry if mine kinda suck;; "I never said Peace was fucking perfect, but he's better company then you or Christian combined." Jimmy said smugly, he really didn't care. Though he would ask Peacemaker later about the bruises. He growled at her, his eyes narrowing as she threatened him. "Like fuck I'll saty away, Peace is the only one who likes me around here.. the only person I care about. Would you stay away from someone if you loved them? Hmm? Peace hates Christian and yet you won't stay away from him. Who died and made you fucking God?" He didn't yell but he wanted to, he honestly wanted to put a bullet in her brain, she was so high and mighty it was unbelievable! "No I don't Gloria, tell me.. what is Mr The best person on the planet like? Go on, tell me how he's so great and I'm nothing." He spat, he hated this, if she wanted to talk why was she always such a bitch, what did he ever do? "You make me sick."

  • luv Sorry.

;; Thank you :) ;; Jimmy never liked Gloria that was sure, he didn't even move as he heard the pitter patter of her footsteps along the ground as she approached the viaduct where he was hiding. He snorted at her quiet voice, though came out to face her, his height obviously a lot taller then her or Peace for that matter. Folding his arms across his chest, his dark made up bright green eyes looked down at her, though across to her arms with the bruises. "What the hell do you want Gloria? And who the hell did that to you?" Sure Jimmy was an ass, but that was Jimmy, he was angry at everyone for a lot of good reasons. But he still felt a little sorry for women no matter who, who had bruises like that as if she'd been abused by someone. "Did Christian do this?"
