Severus stated when Lilyen whinned in her sleep he instantly heald her whispering softly to calm her which it did. Lilyen was all Severus had it had always been that way they had only had each other they defended one another and Severus had always been there to comfort her after her father or his friends had forced himself on her.

Severus said and turned back to Lily he was pissed Lily had been a place for safety for Lilyen. The two had been close and now James had come between that. Severus didn’t mention anything more until Lilyen was curled up her head on his lap Severus fingers tenderly stroking her hair.
”You don’t belong with us anymore…So James says…we are not good enough to talk to you he just as bad as every man that’s ever put there hands on her…Lilyen is having a hard enough time at the moment last thing she needs is you’re boyfriend threatening her take a good look at the brusing round her neck you’re boyfriends handy work…he puts his hands on her again I will kill him I don’t care if you’re there or not..” Severus said to Lily hh loved Lily and he knew she knew that but Lilyen meant far more to him then her. If it came down to a choice he would go through Lily to get to James ”You tell you’re boyfriend I wont forget what he done…”

Lilyen was asleep on one of the couches her head on Severus lap curled under his cloak she had went and showered. Since getting on the train Lilyen hadn’t talked to Lily Severus had waited until he sister was out the room and turned to Lily.
”James stayed at you’re house?” Severus asked there was no bitterness in his voice he knew James had stayed with her parents. Lilyen had turned up and been turned away from the house by James pouring of rain snow on the ground and all she had been wearing was a blood soaked night gown and he had closed the door in her face.
”She not talked in weeks…my father stabbed her she got out..came to you’re house bad luck for her that night the snow and rain she was only wearing a night gown…James turned her away luckily an old woman was walking her dog and found her unconshious…”

James nodded with a smirk, he knew that he had to do his own work but it didn't mean he enjoyed it. Hearing Lily say she was bored, James chuckled "let's do something fun then" he mumbled as he ran a hand through his hair, trying to decide what to do.

James nodded with a cheeky grin "Oh I know, don't worry" he chuckled lightly as he began to actually take notes on a new piece of parchment. He smirked more as he notice her blush slightly but he said nothing about it. "I am working" he muttered pretending to look hurt about the fact that she wouldn't help him anymore, even though he was sure that she was only joking. He groaned after writing only a few lines "Its rubbish, I hate writing" he grumbled.

James stretched over and grabbed the pencil before getting a bit of paper and beginning to doodle on it "This the kind of work you mean?" he asked with a smirk on his lips, he knew what she actually meant but he just wanted to wind her up for a bit before he actually began to write anything. He chuckled as he nodded softly "You need to hang out with me more often for your bit of excitement" he laughed slightly as he continued to watch her, a slight sparkle in his eyes.

James shrugged with a grin "Hmm, that is true" he chuckled lightly before dodging the pencil that was thrown at him "So what if I'm always complaining? Someone needs to" he laughed lightly before leaning back on the chair and watching her write the notes they needed for the essay. "So how are things in the life of a Gryffindor?" he asked with a smirk on his lips. Sure he was a right Slytherin at times but he could be warm and caring if he needed to.

James chuckled lightly as he heard her "You could never show me up darling" he winked at her with a cheeky grin before smiling an honest smile. "Anyone else, yeah but not me" he looked at the book which contained their homework and sighed "Why do they always give us long essays?" he asked in an annoyed voice. His blue eyes scanned over her before looking around the library, as always it was pretty empty which was how he liked it, it meant that no one would talk about the fact he was always hanging out with Lily, not that he would have cared but his mates would not have been happy to discover he was hanging with a Gryffindor instead of them

"course it is" James chuckled as he uncovered her eyes, taking his usual seat beside her. "so... What homework are we doing today princess?" he asked with a cheeky smile, his dark hair was messy but it suited him... He stretched out on the chair, flexing his muscles slightly as he did so. He knew their friendship was frowned upon due to him being a Slytherin and her being a gryffindor but he didn't seem to care that much but his attitude towards her would always change when he was with his friends.

James chuckled lightly with his fellow slytherins before realising the time "catch you lot later" he muttered before jogging up the stairs towards the library. He knew what time Lily would be at the library and loved to meet her there. Walking into the room he smirked as he saw the familiar red head, James Blake was a large flirt and loved to wind her up with his playful flirting. He made his way over to her and covered her eyes "hello beautiful" he purred into her ear before placing the smallest kiss on her neck "guess who?" he whispered.

. Severus moved into the compartment looking at her he paused a pain of guilt at the mess she was in. Severus was a few minutes older then her she had been the surprise. Severus always had a feeling of guilt about not being able to protect her he had taken a beaten himself but Lilyen abuse went beyound beatings. Checking the bruising on her neck where the last buyer had attempted to strangle her.
Severus went into his bag handing her some cream and smiled ”its fine…we are on our way to Hogwarts...” Lilyen smiled her hand in his squeezing her twin brother’s hand the two were close very close in fact.
