Well, Youlbury Is one of four main Scout activity centre's around Britain, where young and old people come to relax, camp and enjoy our activities, and more.
Now, are you mad, and up for a good time? Want to do your bit to help? Then come and join Youlbury service team. Check out the Picture's and see what we get up to. Every weekend. One fact, we are the eldest Scouting Campsite in the World. Now, if that’s not something proud to be part of, then I don't know what Is!

Youlbury Scout Activity Centre says: "visit http://www.minotaurmadness.com/" (73 weeks ago) me too! | Reply | | Music | | Anything.... | | | Films | | Anything.... | | | Sports | | Climbing, Abseiling, Rifle Shooting, Swimming, Achery, High Ropes Course, 3G Swing get the hint we is an activity centre put 2 and 2 togther come on people.... | | | History of Youlbury! | | It was in 1913 that, four boys from the local Scout troop; In Wootton, came to Youlbury, to ask Sir Arthur if they could use his Croquet pavilion; Now known as the Lawn Hut, for their Scout meetings. Sir Arthur replied, "certainly not, that is my pavilion - but, I will build you one." In 1913, he built a beautiful log cabin Headquarter's for them. Which, unfortunately, was knocked down some 20 years ago. This building stood on the area now occupied by the Texaco building. Sir Arthur not only gave them the headquarters but, also the area we now know as the Top Field; for their camping activities. To this day Youlbury is a thriving, well loved and used Campsite, by the many Scouts' and Guides' that occupy it's fields and woodland every year. Youlbury, is the oldest Scouting Campsite in the world. We are privileged to work there. | | | Happiest When | | The sun is shining and doing Jobs outside. Listening to Music and Dancing. All at the same time. Even when is raining. Now, I know It sound's like a bit of an over Used Cliché but, it is true. We work hard, have a good laugh and have plenty of 'Team training' session's on the Activities. We just generally have a good time. Talking of Cliché's, this Is a good one to generalise the Service team experience. 'The proof is in the Pie.' This denotes the concept to just simply look at the fun the Service Team have. If that's not enough, then don't hesitate to ask any Service team member for their personal Monolog of the Youlbury Serivce Team Experience. | | | Birthday Parties | | Are you bored with the same old parties year, after year? Well, not any more, Youlbury is now offering birthday parties, like no other, for you and your friends. You get to do a range of activities and you even get your own host for the day. So why not try this for your next birthday and make this year, a year to remember. Just contact us for more information. All our High Ropes activities are now open, and are running well with encapsulating Instructors'. Just come and find out for yourself. | |
