- Y.O.U.T.H or Youth Organization Understanding Teen Health (previously known as Youth2Youth) is a youth health drop-in in Helensburgh for young people aged 13-20 to access confidential health information and services in a safe non-judgmental environment. The service offers free condoms, pregnancy testing, the morning after pill and counseling referrals. It also has regular health related workshops such as coping with exam stress, healthy eating, exercise, mental health and S.T.I.s.
Open between 4 and 6pm every Wednesday in the Kirk Cottage in Colquhoun Square, Helensburgh Y.O.U.T.H offers a friendly welcome and a listening ear.
- Y.O.U.T.H is in a village near you...
- In Arrochar at The Pit Stop (I think!) from 4.30-6.15 on the first Thursday of the month.
In Rosneath at The Princess Louise Hall from 4.00-6.00 on the second Monday of the month.
In the Cove Burgh Hall from 4.30-6.30 on the third Monday of the month.
Last but not least in Garelochhead 4.00-6.00 on the fourth Monday of each month, in the medical centre hopefully but watch this space... - If you need to get in touch...
