This Boxing Club revival has proven to be a very sucessfull project,as indeed last Saturday night proved the incredible support it has generated.Speaking for myself, it was heartwarming to see some of the "ole" heads back, dancing as if their lives depended on it.I was proud to be part of it.
So it is with this in mind that i ask the organisers and friends, to consider prehaps using this "project" for further use.
By this I mean aiding the plight of Dixie Nugent..who we all know and have a tremendous fondness and respect for.
Prehaps the next reunion night could be used to raise funds for Dixies cause,which is terrible in these days of build build build...although I appreciate that the Celtic Tiger has abandoned these shores.
Sales from the DVD of the photos....is another.
So by writing this I am putting a "flea" in your ears...just consider the idea...
