	When Mother Nature gets Nasty	852 dagen geleden
	Mother Nature is a quirky old gal and to say she’s unpredictable is right on point. From normal and somewhat predictable weather patterns such as wind, rain, overcast, fog and sunny days. Suddenly we can go to the extreme for more dangerous weapons in nature’s arsenal. And this actually happened within a 48-hour period. Hurricane Flossy was racing past the Hawaiian Islands in the Pacific, Tropical Storm Dean moving west through the Mid Atlantic and Tropical Depression Erin pelting the Yucatan Peninsula with heavy rains and moving toward the Gulf of Mexico and the Texas coast. Then just as all hell is breaking loose on the hurricane front a devastating earthquake hits the Lima, Peru area causing heavy loss of life and property damage. However, the general Media will be covering the earthquake in Peru and we will concentrate on the present hurricane season. More later. Tom B.
