This year’s Vancouver Tournament was a full weekend of sports and entertainment with both a Ladies and Gents football Championship and a Hurling Championship.

There were travelling teams from Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer and Seattle.

The 34th Annual General Meeting of the Vancouver Irish Sporting and Social Club was held at Scribes RFC Clubhouse with many long time and new members in attendance. The nominations for the 2008 ISSC executive were highlighted by the willingness of many to let their name stand for a position.
