- The WIN (Western Isles Nu-music) Trust is a community based-group that was formed in 2006 with the express purpose of working with young, contemporary Western Isles based music artists who are writing and performing their own works in a variety of popular music genres including: Folk, Pop and Rock.
By focusing the groups energies on promotion and development, whether it be through raising the profile of musicians via the press and other medium, producing demos or organising gigs; the WIN Trust has assisted in the continuing advancement of the Western Isles music scene and remained at the forefront by nurturing new talents and creating opportunities to develop music related skills.
