NITRO
Well yes indeed.. Nitro was trialed in The Venue on the 3rd of April and it went down a storm.. trust me, i was there! The DJ's were excellent and the MC's got you in the mood right away.
SO.. Due to the massive success of the last one the boys are holding a very special event for a very special person, Faith Magee who died prematurely as a baby, all door proceeds raised this night are to go to the ECMO unit at Yorkhill which will help more babies like Faith.
Nitro are pleased to announce that this gig will be called "Faith" in memory of her, and will have some famous names playing.. BASS GENERATOR have already been confirmed and will be sure to have the place bouncing!
Nitro will be held on May the 9th @ 10pm.. remember to come early.. The Venue aint that big and nitro are expecting a massive crowd, we dont want you queuing in the sky bar! so to avoid disappointment, come early.. besides you dont wanna miss any of this night..

Venue Big night out..
Well.. how good was this weekend? :D after xmas its been kinda quiet wherever you go in Dumfries, but the Venue Big Night Out prove there is still people out there looking to have a great time.. The Venue was banging this weekend and hopefully will stay that way for the rest of the year. The DJ's were on top form (as usual) :L and there was no wait to get served at the bar. There also seems to be some great bands comin up according to The Venue's main website.. and i also heard a rumour that nitro will be making it to a friday night and returning regularly due to its debut sucess last thursday!!! Hardcore!!! glow sticks and whistles galore!!! :P Woop woop!
See you all on the dance floor this weekend!!

cheap drink!
January is a hard time money wise for everyone, but people love to party.. so why make it an expensive night out.. The Venue has 2 floors of excellent music.. plus the drink deals are fantastic!! Reef £1.50 Bottled Stella £1.50 Sourz (all flavours) £1.50 and Smirnoff, not cheap shit vodka, Smirnoff and Red Bull, also not cheap shit energising drink, £1.50!!!!!
