Threat Signal's 2006 Under Reprisal debut was produced by Christian Olde Wolbers of Fear Factory fame.

When it came time to create their sophomore effort, Vigilance, vocalist Jon Howard decided he wanted a crack at being the man in charge.

"I chose to self-produce the album and record most of it in my home studio in Hamilton," Howard says. "I knew exactly how I wanted the album to sound, and I did not want to give anyone else control."

Canadian metallers THREAT SIGNAL will release their sophomore album, Vigilance, on August 28, 2009 (Europe) and September 8, 2009 (North America) via Nuclear Blast Records.

Canada’s THREAT SIGNAL have just kicked off a headlining tour with THE AGONIST, FLATLINE and THY WILL BE DONE this June dubbed the "Road to Revision" tour.

The run will be followed by another headlining tour this July with THE AUTUMN OFFERING, THE AGONIST and SYBREED. During this tour THREAT SIGNAL will be debuting material from their upcoming sophomore effort.
