The WAVE were formed 1967 on a Thursday at about 3:15pm in San Jose, New Mexico. Led by charismatic frontman DAVE JAVOO and including (bassist) the fabulously funky, silent but deadly NOAH DEAH They quickly added (drummer) WARREN PEAS and (lead guitarist) ERNEST LEE SINSARE and became the busiest "goodtime goodvibe band" of the era! This lineup gigged continuously for nearly 20 years before taking a well earned break in the fall of 83 to dream it all up again and spend some of the massive fortune saved. It was during this hiatus that Dave happened to find himself (and the next member of the band) backstage at a Kraftwerk gig in Saipan. Miss HEIDI CLAIRE (vocalist and keyboards) appears to have been left behind by Kraftwerk and rumors persist to this day as to whether or not she is actually a robot and what exactly the nature of her relationship with the band was?!?! On the verge of global superstardom the band disappeared while promoting their 'Lead Balloon' album gig in the notorious Area 51.....Nobody knows what happened Nobody knows where The WAVE have been But now....  TheSpecials,DavidBowie and some of the great songs of yesterday, today and the day after tomorrow! THE WAVE have taken up residence in Galway to be close to both the Burren and the sea and feel this vibrant little city is the perfect launch pad for their quest to end all war, famine and poor dental hygiene of the early 21st century

    Firstly I would like to congratulate Mattie on a successful night and event..
    Great craic throughout the whole event with a BBQ, DJ and a good crowd that travelled from around the country..

    With a spectacular show put on by Mattie, and raffle's through the night..

  • A Big Thank You

    Many thanks to all those who came to the latest in our series of Gig's and making it the success that it was.

    Even with the event of the two pigeons who tried to sabotage the night by dropping 'The Wave' sign on Noah Deah, they failed miserably as Noah continued playing through the mayhem :P

    As you know there is a Video of the gig, which hopefully soon we will get our hands on and upload various songs from the night.

    We will keep you updated with events as soon as we know about them.

  • We Want You


    Friends of 'The Wave', we need your help this Friday the 15th August.

    As we are hoping to get a Video Shoot of the gig in The Quays, we would like all of you to be in it too.

    With the way things have been going for us things keep getting better and better, and we don't want you to miss out. So this is your opportunity to shine for us.
