We have everything from cask conditioned ales (we're in the Good Beer Guide!) to Cocktail List including jugs and layered drinks, Lots of wines, decent malt whisky range, all the usual drinks and a few more besides, FREE HOUSE - so plenty draught options. I've got a 12ft screen & 3 TV's - come watch football with me!! (No Numpties Please) Pool table, darts board, Forfar's ONLY fussball table, board games aplenty, Wii nights, Quiz Nights and bus trips. Pub Football Team (See Ploo Till I Die <MONTHEPLOO> below), Pool Team and Dominoes team. We actively support Forfar Athletic FC and sponsor Forfar Albion JFC with post match hospitality. More teams wanted.

    Beer Festival: 4th to 12th April

    Forfar's only pub in the GOOD BEER GUIDE, we are to feature the re-emergence of the Scottish microbrewery industry into a week long festival event, offering beers from around Scotland such as Brewdog, Stewarts, Cairngorm and Inveralmond Brewers of Perth. Inveralmonds have brewed, under license, the Homecoming Scotland Beer which will be available throughout.

    Scottish Fayre Menu: 4th to 12th April

    In addition to usual lunch, dinner and high tea menus, we will be offering a number of traditional home made Scottish dishes in a Tartan Week Menu, from Arbroath Smokies, Stovies, Haunch of Venison, Scottish Salmon and Haggis, to Cranachan, Clootie Dumpling and Scottish cheeseboard.

    Folk Music Session: Thursday 9th April from 8pm

    A traditional folk 'session' featuring local musicians and singers. Expect fiddles, guitars, whistles and bhodrans among the many instruments. Musicians are invited to join in. Entry is free.

    Highland Night: Saturday 11th April - 7pm to 11pm

    Ceilidh, singers, dancers, musicians, dancers and storytelling in a celebration of traditional music and song. Alan Morrison on accordian leads a night of entertainment for all ages. Forfar Pipe Band, Sandra Wright Highland Dancers, David Nicill & Bill Hutcheson & Bill Burns. Tickets are £4 for adults (£2 under 16) and includes a steamin' plate o' stovies wi' bannocks.
