Where have all the flowers gone?Last time I darkened the door of my kilkenny home,there were roses in bloom but now,the children have grown up and gone and my wife's old shoes are stacked by the bed in a neat pile...there was a note but it had grown too old n frayed to be read and was falling apart with mildew,I could faintly make out the phrase "my love...." but I can't be sure.My poor old dog has long since passed and here I stand alone!There is only one answer,go down to the bar and meet em,including the dog,who likes a stout!Off at a trot,with no fear of trotting!In the bar it's cats nite,so there are Cats everywhere,nothing new though....fell up the road ,tumbled in the door landed in a heap and woke the next morning to the sound of dogs,barkin!It was raining of course and I practised my surfing techniques in the back garden in the pond.While balancing on my board and not being bored in the balancing,I pondered recklessly on what had befallen me.



A platinum disc a year on the road and a real sense of ,having been to get the chips from the chipper and only to cosey in front of a great Xmass Movie ,left on the agenda.I listened to the Celtic Woman Xmass CD(available on our website!) and wept saltless tears into my Fanta cure.....then the lonliness set in.....ochone ochone,ca bhfuill mo cairde,na musicini who filled my every waking conivence for the last year?All hiding in their own homes no doubt,trying to remember what to do when yer not havin a laff in a moving vehicle!Dublin was the only solution.When in Dublin there are certain protocols which must be followed,parents first,then sisters,then,end up at de brudder's house for afew lively ones!It was hard enough to see after a while.

Between nefariousness and top gear I was fiersome confused but managed to make it back and write this,after a short intercession by the Gardai on account of an unworn seatbelt and a driving liscence ,which should not have been so far away in the 02 shop in Rathmines,where I'd left it!Did I "KNOW I had to carry my license at ALL TIMES??"...I did Gard...."then why didn't you have it"...because I left it in the 02 shop in Rathmines......"click click....dial dial......gard walking away from the VE-HICLE noises....mumble mumble.....Gard returns......"do you normally wear your seat belt?"...."I do Gard but..... ,says I," NO YOU DO NOT!!"...massa say.,him say..."you will recieve a fine in the post,pay it and bring yer liscence into Kilkenny and we'll say no more about it..."...I don't know how to do this anymore?How does the fridge work?Are the magnets for something??where's your tour manager when ya need her????Right,nuf blog,tis time for Flossy n the open plains.
