    • What is techie up to?

      Hello Folks, As many of you will know Techie took part in a charity dash as part of the Activity Mix Highland Games at the weekend. As one of 8 mascots running (Spotlass, The Lions Club Lion, Archie the Bear, Clancy Rabbit, Magic the Bunny, Courage the Cat, and Blaze the Bear.) he didn’t win but did manage to come in third behind Courage (2nd) and Blaze(1st).
      The event raised a total of £1200 for Cash for Kids, and a photo is attached.

    • What is techfest??

      Techfest is a fun-packed festival that takes place once a year.

      TechFest SetPoint promotes science technologly engineering and maths throughout the year across scotland.
      For example the knex challenge for primary schools is run by Techfest.

      The festival is held in september and with many interesting things going on though out the event.
      There is the the opening event who last year had simon king a famous camera-man who most of you will know from spring and atumun watch along with bill oddie(who has in previous years also opened the festival) and Kate Humble.
      This year Richard Noble the worlds fastest man will open the festival.
      The festival consites of a family fun weekend with many workshops for kids and adults alike, Lunch time and evening presentations.
