- Hi, I'm Tariq. I'm 24, from Acton in West London. I like playing football, working hard, music & movies. I got ribbed at school for being a West Ham supporter when QPR was only down the road, but now I've moved to East London it's not a problem! I don't make many of their home games because I'm always working- Grrr! I left my last job in the city to start my own company with a friend (Gavin). It's really early days and we're 'working our whatsits off'now. It'll be worth it when I can pay all my bills... And have my own swimming pool!

- I play Football 5-a-side when I've got time- which is not that often! I run to keep fit. Gyms are good but a rip-off if you don't go all the time. I'm trying to convince Kate to come to see the Hammers play at home when there's time!

- Spiders. Snakes. Angry Cyclists. Having bad B.O. and no-one telling me- and having no deoderant! Hangovers. Soft Rock music. …Being skint forever.

- On a beach in The Bahamas with my lady! And …When hard work pays off …When I'm getting it right after others have doubted me…
- Clothes
- I can't stand wasting money- especially with clothes. It's one area of spending where good judgement really makes all the difference: You can spend £100 on a shirt that's a nice material but doesn't fit, or £15 (even second hand) on an average shirt which fits you well, and looks 200% better. I tend to spend time looking for bargains and clothes which I know go together.

- I think the decision to strike out on our own was the right one, for now at least! I could have worked for a large company but - with all respect to them- I do better if I'm in charge of myself. My friends say I have a competitive streak but that's a good thing. I like to get my head down, but I hope I won't loose the work/life balance!!!

Peace
I wanted to write something here to let you all know that I'm not going to be around for a while. I'm really loving India and I've decided I'm going to stay out here for a long time. My mum's going to come over and we're starting a new life here. I'm happier than I've ever been and it's great having a change of scene, meeting new people and forgetting all the bad stuff that's happened in the past.
So thanks for sharing the good and bad, for supporting me in difficult times and telling me what to do when I was being an idiot.

I Have To Go
I think I'm going to leave London. There's nothing here for me anymore apart from painful memories and rejection. That job at JTV was the one positive thing on the horizon but now that Gavin's taken that away from me I have nothing.

Job Hunting
Yo...long time no speak! Been job hunting mainly...haven't found anything too appealing so far but going to keep on the trail. Julia's being pretty helpful too. I'm going to have to get something soon though as money is getting a bit tight!
