- I have been living in QLD, Australia for 9 years now and love it. Miss my family and NZ food every now and then. Working hard paying off a mortgage on the Gold Coast with my partner Brett. I have been out of the music and singing scene for a couple of years but this is the year I am going to get back into it. I have added a few pics but will add some more soon once I have found them, lost most of them when my lap top died. Stay tuned my 30th is coming up in June!!!

Well my 30th party was on Sat 23rd of June and it was awesome!!!
But the biggest update is that Brett asked me to marry him Fri 22nd June! A big surprise and I am very grateful and happy to have a wonderful man like him in my life! I have added some photos of the engagement night and will update my blog for the finer details.

It seems like so much has happened in such a short time.
Looking back over the last year and it seems like so much has happened. With dragon boating I competed in my first ever nationals in Perth April 2008. From this we qualified for the World Championship in Penang which was a blast!!! Going to another country was amazing and experiencing another culture
My wedding is now just around the corner it seems and we are now getting down to the nitty gritty stuff, the finer details.
Brett has been promoted to Trainee Driller in his job and is enjoying it very much. I am not sure if it is the job that he enjoys the most or the fact that he is currently getting his breakfast, lunch & dinner made for him the piggy.
I have recently left my job and started a new job which is cruisey at the moment. I can't complain. Well 8 months to go until the big day!!1 Comment 191 weeks

SINGING AGAIN!! & DRAGON BOATING.....
Well I have gotten my A into G and finally joined a group called GROOVE INC. My first gig is at Logan Diggers on the 7th of December. Trying to remember my words is proven to be a task but I will get it. Also started paddling for Broadwater Dragons.... I am enjoying that... I have a lot more energy since I have changed jobs!! Hey Mrs Nugent! How is it going? I hope you guys got our envelope. It was pretty paru looking by the time it got to you. My bloody husband forgot to take it out of the car when we caught a ride with Bronny and James and then it got hammered while we were travelling to our different campsite. Anyways, the joys of being a wife! Take care you two, your wedding was tino ataahua. Love the King-Rangis (currently in some hick area near Hervey Bay, awesome weather, Mikaera caught a fish at the river!)
