Exciting times!!! STUDENT CITY DAY 28 Feb 2009
Hi All
its been a CRAZY 24 hours. Herbs have confirmed they are NOT ABLE to play this year for medical reasons! My thoughts are with them at this time.
Student City Day 09 - SQUARE ROOTS is a free concert held in the SQUARE Palmerston North to celebrate the new tertiary year! Its open to ALL and we'd love to see you there!
Please remember the square a liquor ban area AND keep your eyes out for the after parties around town (UNO, Bar Mode and Malbas!) Its going to be an AWESOME day in our groovy lil city
So... after a bit of running around like a headless chicken I have found a new act to fill that spot on Student City Day - Next Saturday.
And the winner is.....
RHOMBUS!! Wohoo! I am really pleased to have booked these guys and appreciate them coming on at such short notice. SO... this years concert will roll like this:
The Thomas Oliver Band kicking off at 3PM
Cornerstone Roots ~ 4PM
Rhombus ~ 5:30 to get ya's all worked up and
Katchafire to bring it home ~ 7:30

Sort rolls along a river which is really REALLY nice and soon will make an EXCELLENT swimming hole when we've had worm weather for a couple weeks straight...
speaking of warm weather... this weekend....
"Cloc Party"

Infront of the Clock Tower in the Square, with...
Ruski, The Nerines, Haluciagea, Jemma
Naturally we will let you know late next week if it looks like the weather is gonna get all grumpy and mess it up.
!!!!!!
ANNNNND..... OOO its a full moon tonight! GO LOONIES

Ruski
So we're making a music video for 'Feathers to Leather' on Tuesday night, and they pretty much need all you loyal ruski kids to help usout!
We're having a gig on Tuesday night (TONIGHT!!) at 1 Cleland St (or 'The Cube' as some might know it as) around 8pm and basically want to film you kids going hard out with them. There will be strobes. And rocking out. And quite possibly alcohol. Basically, fun times will be had!!
We want a decent crowd so you should all come along and rock out with us and help us make a churiffic video (so Jono and Grant pass their assignment!!!)
Who passes up a free gig these days?? -
