We r a Youth Club running since 1967
We have over 60 members ageing from 13-19 years old.
We provide a variety of activities including;
Football,
Basketball,
Table Tennis,
Pool,
Playstation,
DJ sessions,
T.V. room (watch TV or DVD's)
Computers with Internet access,
Cooking
Arts and crafts
****NEW THIS TERM Wii games******
and much more

We are open for every 1 who likes getting stuck in to different activties.....

You can find us at Stonelodge Youth and Community Centre
next to Chantry Library on Hawthorn Drive.
On a Monday and Wednesday night 7.30-9.30pm

It costs just for 50p entrance per session - but you will need more money if you want snacks and drinks

The tuck shop supply snacks from 5p and drinks from 10p
Hot food - burgers and hotdogs from 50p (needs to be ordered on entrance to the club)

We enjoy seeing new faces and of course old ones! .... So please come along :)

Do you have any playstation 2 games and/or DVD's you no longer want which you could donate to the youth club? We have very little of these as you probably know! We would be very gratefully for any donations you are kind enough to offer us.

    Activities during the summer holidays @ CHANTRY SPORTS CENTRE From Monday 28th July - Friday 22nd August 2008


    ROLLERSKATING
    Dates: Every Thursday plus Tuesday 26th August
    Time: 2.30–3.30pm
    Age: 5-9 years
    Time: 3.45-5pm
    Age: 10-14 years
    The GAME-ON project will be holding a variety of activities at Chantry Sports Centre again this year including:
    boxing on Monday mornings

    martial arts on Friday afternoons

    basketball on Wednesday afternoons

    Morning sessions are 11-12pm for 5-12 year olds
    12-1pm for 13-19 year olds

    Afternoon sessions are 2-3pm for 5-12 year olds
    3-4pm for 13- 19 year olds

    and Street dancing on Tuesday afternoons (1-3pm)

    hello everyone

    I have a meeting with Chris Mole (MP for Ipswich) on Friday and I really need young peoples thoughts of what there is or is not to do around Chantry for young people

    If you have not already answered the questions, polls, etc on my bebo please could you do it for me so I can collate the info and feedback to him at this meeting - it wont take you long and I would really appreciate it.

    This is my, and OUR, real and probably only chance to speak to Mr Mole so the more you can help me with your feedback,suggestions and thoughts the better and if anyone can make it happen and get more facilities for young people in Chantry it is him but I need your help to let him know what YOU want.

    Guys if you want the Youth Club open more nights and during the holidays please answer the questions on the 'new' Youth Club QUIZ.
    Remember there are no wrong or right answers I just use your answers to show the council and Councillors what you guys want. If you can't answer the questions I have there please write your answers in the comments section.
    PLEASE PLEASE do it as soon as you can as we have a meeting coming up soon so I NEED this information quickly.

    Hi Guys!
    I have just been sent the activities which are going on around Chantry during the summer holiday, these have kindly been paid for by local Councillors so you don't have to pay a penny!
    Activities include:-
    Boxing
    Martial Arts
    Street dancing
    Basketball
    Football
    Which I know some of you said you would like to do, so please take advantage of these FREE activities they may help break up the bordem of the long holiday for a few hours a day at least!
    Check out my site for the days and time of each activity (I have done it in the poll section so please select any you are going to take part in)
    As usual all feed back from my site (and you) goes to inform the council what you all want so it is important and 'it is' being used, so keep it coming. Proof of this is an email I have just received and posted on my blog !
    Activities start Monday 30th July and run until Friday 24th August
