Bobby Burns parts ways with The Porch Studio
Bobby has sent along the following message to let us know that he has just severed his business relationship with Tim Lau and the Porch Studio in Orlando, FL:
"I decided about a week ago to part ways with Tim and the Porch Studio. I have nothing bad to say, and the only explanation I want to give is that we just don’t see eye to eye on prices and the general business of the studio. I’ll be working with a new studio in Orlando pretty soon. I’ll keep ya posted!
Other than that, I’m in Atlanta at the moment writing with Love Said No. The music is coming along really, really great and I couldn’t be happier! Very rockin’ stuff.
The recording part of the Soulfly record has been wrapped up for a few weeks, and it has been sent to England for Andy Sneap to mix. Andy is really great at what he does and we’re excited to see what he adds to the Soulfly sound!

The upcoming sixth studio album from Soulfly was recorded over the course of several weeks this fall with Lau engineering. In some recent interviews, Max has let the tribe know that they can expect the forthcoming release to be completely ready by late summer this year! A request from Max....
Yesterday we received a really sad loss in our family. Gloria's brother, Paul Guffin, died of cancer in California. I knew Paul and we got to hang out with him whenever he had a chance. Paul was an awesome person. He loved movies, music, arts and being a movie director was one of his dreams. I feel so sad for Gloria, her mom, dad and whole family. My prayers are with them in this difficult time. I wanna thank all Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy fans and wish you could dedicate a second of your day in a prayer for Paul. Paul Guffin we'll miss you.

Glasgow was great Thanks
Saw Soulfly last Friday at Glasgow ABC, one of the best gigs I've been to in ages!
Since then they've definately grown on me more than they initially did, since I was more into Sepultura, but now the only band I've been listening to on my Zen has been Soulfly, and I've ordered copies of Dark Ages and Conquer to add to the 4 other albums on the PC 
awesome gig last night!
Last night in Dublin Fucking Rocked!!!!! Even Though they were 90 mins late It was well worth the wait!!!!!
