Welcome to the Official Bebo Group for Sligo Musical Society!!

The current Sligo Musical Society formed in 2000, reviving a former society which ended a few years previous. Now approaching its 10th Anniversary, SMS continue to go from Strength to Strength, with multiple AIMS awards and a cast and crew that get better every year!

      Not long now Guys and Dolls... :D

      A couple of dates for the Diary this weekend.........

      SMS OFFICIAL NIGHT OUT

      Dont forget this Saturday Night we have our first Official night on the tiles to let our hair down ahead of the next four weeks of pure madness!

      Guys meeting in MCLOUGHLINS @ 9.30 and

      Dolls meeting in SHENNANIGANS @ 9.30

      and we'll meet up at a later stage that night!!

      MAKEUP COURSE

      This Sunday the 25th of Jan we have the pleasure of holding a Makeup workshop with proffesional Makeup Artist Ali Murphy.

      Course runs from 1-6 in the Clarion Hotel. Meeting in Reception at 12.50 to pre-order lunch and to get directions to Suite.

      Promises to be a great day!

    • Table Quiz!

      Dont miss the ,Sligo Musical Societys FUNDRAISING TABLE QUIZ, this Thursday 20th of November in the Harp Tavern @ 9.30 - after rehearsals! :D

      Tables are €20 each, 4 to a table and there are tonnes of prizes up for grabs!

      Strictly no more than 2 Musical member people per table! And no cheating - that means no phone Googling the answers!! :L

      Will be a great night - Come along and bring a friend or two !! ;)

      Get swatting and See ye there!!

    • AUDITIONS ANNOUNCED!

      A provisonal date of :

      Friday 26th September 2008

      has been announced as an Open Audition night for GUYS AND DOLLS! :D :D :D

      These auditions will be held @ 7.30 in Chapal Lane Studios, Chapal Lane, Sligo. Over 18's only unfortunately! :(

      This night will be held in the format of a group / workshop audition, and anyone wishing to read/sing for a part, will attend a follow up audition the next day!

      ***This show requires a large Male cast, who can sing, dance and act......... so if you think you're ,man enough for the job, and are looking for a challenging and highly fun experience, in a welcoming and friendly environment - come along and bring a friend!! ;)

      This is Sligo Musical Societys 10th Anniversary show - and its gonna be a good'un! ;)

We'll really miss ya this year! :( I mean - we'll have a dressing room full of women, and nobody to unhook their bras in a onehanded swoop! :L What harm, wont be long til you're back to us!
