  This is oddly compelling and delves into a much misunderstood topic. It needs an edit, but whose work doesn’t. What is missing though is the thought process behind what is going on. You tell us what the catalyst is for the self harm but not the feeling behind it. What does it mean to her? What drives it? Make the reader understand what it means, and the consequences of it. If you don’t, it will seem like just a diary and by put more description around all the dialogue it could be so much more. That said well done for tackling the subject and look forward to more.
