New album “Molten” is a diverse mix of rock tracks (“Hot For You”, “Black Blood”, “Love the Fire”, “Smiling Social Climber”), solemnly beautiful ballads (“Womb Garden” and “Tomb”), playfulness, particularly in “Smiling Social Climber”, even 21stC glam (“Lady of Ice”).

There’s the hint of the nascent relationship between Bow and musician George Harrison in “Black Blood” and “Lost”. (Listen to Joe Camilleri’s inspired saxophone solo in “Lost”, by the way). The words of the verses of “Hot For You” (surely destined to be a hit) are infused with Celtic mythology, and the beautifully insane “Who’s Waiting on the Other Side?”, with the lyric speculating about life, the universe and everything, also highly original.

For every paid download or CD sale, Bow is making a donation to the wonderful charity Touch the Sky. For further details, take a look at www.touchthesky.uk.com.
