- This group is for Belle Jeffries. Her life was great and is Married to Aden. He is deeply sad about Belle's death and so are we all. She went out with Drew too when she came to the bay she was best friends with Cassie and Matilda but they moved and now is best friends Nicole. We all miss Belle cos all the good characters are going. Well join if you miss Belle and R.I.P Belle and Jessica Tovey have a good acting career

Belle... Cancer Cluster =[
In the first few years, cancer was only really briefly touched upon as the cause of the predicament that the youngsters found themselves in. Bobby's "mother" Doris Simpson had died of cancer, which attributed to her going of the rails, and Blake and Karen had arrived in Summer Bay after their mother had died of cancer.
One of the first real cancer storylines came in 1992 when teenager Meg Bowman was revealed to be suffering from terminal leukaemia. The storyline is well remembered by those who watched the show at the time and has become a benchmark for such stories of young women dying of cancer, with examples up to the recent Belle story seemingly borrowing iconography from it. Although Meg wasn't a major character, we saw her boyfriend Blake, her friends and her mother trying to come to terms with the fact that she was dying while Meg tried to stay strong and dignified throughout. After her loved ones tried to make her last days as special as possible, she finally breathed her last on the beach in her boyfriend's arms as they watched the sun rise
The first real case of a main character suffering from cancer came in late 1994 when Roxanne Miller was diagnosed with breast cancer, after her boyfriend Rob noticed a lump in her breast.We saw for the first time a character being faced with such a diagnosis and her loved ones struggling to cope, but unfortunately the character's departure early the following year meant the storyline just fizzled out. Roxy left town to get treatment and wasn't heard from for some time until she was suddenly corresponding with Ailsa and apparently completely recovered.
In August 1995, Angel Parrish's 4 year old son Dylan was discovered to be suffering from leukaemia, uncovered after a visit to the doctors following his hostage ordeal with his biological father Paul Harris. In desperation, Angel considered having another baby with Paul, via IVF, in order to provide a bone marrow donator for Dylan. Shane was understandably not too keen on this idea, and Angel's plan was scuppered when she discovered she was in fact already pregnant with Shane's baby. Following a brief indecision about whether to have an abortion, she kept the baby and Dylan was later declared to be in remission following treatment
The next character to be hit by cancer was Lachie Fraser, who only weeks after becoming a father to Olivia with his partner Chloe Richards, was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Whilst surgery to remove it proved to be successful, he later suffered a haemorrhage which left him in a coma. On regaining conciousness, he was found to be brain damaged with severe problems with communication and mobility. His relationship with Chloe became strained over the coming weeks, not helped by the presence of his overbearing mother Diana. Whilst he agreed to let Chloe look after him at home, an accident there on his first day back made Lachie realise that he couldn't let his relationship with Chloe become even more strained. With this in mind he accepted Diana's offer to head to the USA for specialist care. When Chloe went to visit him later on, she was shocked to find him with another woman, whom he later went on to marry. A few months later Chloe received the news that Lachie had died following a second haemorrhage.
Vinnie discovered in 1999 that he was suffering from testicular cancer. Most of the time Vinnie was a lovable buffoon, whether it be chancing his luck with the ladies or some get rich quick scheme that was doomed to failure. Ever the proud man, Vinnie decided to go it alone swore his girlfriend Sally to secrecy, though his housemates Gypsy and eventually found out the truth. Sally convinced him that he could trust his friends and he came clean. Unfortunately the storyline didn't amount to much and Vinnie was quickly given the all clear. The show has admitted since then they didn't think they covered the storyline well and was part of the reason they did a similar storyline with Kane years lat0 comentarios 49 días

Belle... Dom's Obsession
Belle first encountered Dom when she was dating Ric and Dom was one of his workmates at the garage. Ric confided in her that Dom was giving him a hard time and tried to make friends with him by inviting him to have lunch with him and Belle. Any good will from the olive branch quickly disappeared and Belle was horrified when she found Ric collapsed from injuries Dom had inflicted, trying to persuade him to either quit his job or tell someone what Dom was doing. She made the brave but somewhat foolish decision to confront Dom herself in the Diner and have a go at him for his behaviour. Belle tried to help Ric out by contacting Wayne, a former employee of the garage who had previously been one of Dom's victims but he was too scared to report Dom, especially since he was the nephew of Ray, the garage manager
Dom continued to cause trouble for the pair, threatening them both in the Diner for causing trouble for him. He later cornered Belle in the gym and came close to sexually assaulting her before she managed to knee him in the groin, resulting in a fight between Dom and Ric. Dom pulled a particularly dangerous stunt in retaliation, causing a car to fall on Ric, which resulted in him being fired. Dom later approached Ric and Belle to apologise but neither of them were interested and Ric told him he needed professional help
Belle didn't cross paths with Dom again until a year later. Dom was working as a courier for a motor parts company by then and agreed to get hold of some parts for Drew, who had just bought a car to do up. Belle was shocked to find him working on Drew's car outside his house and couldn't believe that Drew and even Ric didn't seem to see the problem. She was even more flabbergasted when Jazz got her and Drew tickets to a concert only for Drew to give them to Dom in exchange for some parts. Jazz managed to get hold of some more tickets but Belle wasn't happy when she ran into Dom at the concert, until her bag was stolen while she was in the toilet. Dom stopped the thief and returned the bag to Belle. When he found her wallet and necklace, which had dropped out during the struggle, he waited until the next day before returning them...but kept a photo of Belle and Drew he found in the wallet, after ripping Drew out of the picture
Belle had to meet with Dom again when Drew asked her to pick up a car part for him and was slightly unnerved when he asked her out. When Dom's friend Denni forced Drew into the drag racing scene, Dom managed to sidestep any blame. Unknown to Belle, he had kept the photo of her and told his mother she was his girlfriend. He then claimed to have seen Drew with his ex, Lisa, and talked Belle into coming back to his place and smoking a joint with him. With Belle somewhat the worse for wear, he insisted that she stay to listen to some music he'd selected for her and seemed ready to take advantage of her until Lisa arrived and insisted Belle left with her...again earning himself a punch from her boyfriend. The police later discovered Drew's car had been repaired with stolen parts and Jazz begged Dom to tell them the truth. He agreed if she could get Belle to meet with him and then told Belle he would make a statement if she kissed him. Anxious to stop her boyfriend going to jail, Belle did as he asked and, true to his word, Dom told the police that Drew hadn't known the parts were stolen
Dom spent a few months in prison, being released around the time Belle went on a road trip with Drew. He followed the pair and after watching them argue, kidnapped Belle from a service station toilet. After keeping her tied up in a car boot, he drove her to a cabin that he had decorated for her using details gleaned from her Myspace page and presented her with a ring he'd bought. He claimed that as she'd briefly responded during their kiss she must have feelings for him and if they spent a romantic evening together she'd realise that. Belle... Digging up the Truth
Belle first became involved with the development when she was approached by Murray Buchanan, an employee of the council's environment department, who wanted her to write a story for him. He explained that the council had recently contracted an area for a new development but that the area had been used back in the 1960s as a dump for toxic waste. He had been refused permission to carry out a full test of the area and was worried that the construction work would expose the town to toxic substances.
Belle reluctantly agreed to follow up Murray's suggestion that as a former councillor Alf might know something about what had happened and he angrily denied any wrongdoing. With a meeting being held at the surf club to discuss the proposal, Belle roped Martha and Ruby into handing out fliers about the toxic waste. She and Murray interrupted the meeting to reveal their evidence that the soil contained heavy metals but Murray's fumbling presentation and the development spokesman David Morris producing an independent survey that indicated the area was clean reduced them to a laughing stock and the vote went in the developers' favour
Belle and Murray organised a protest at the development site during which Belle chained herself to one of the construction vehicles but Murray failed to turn up. When some of the other protestors turned violent, Belle and everyone else ended up being arrested. The developers wanted them all charged with trespass but Angelo persuaded Jack to let Belle and the others who remained peaceful off with a warning. Belle learned Murray no longer worked for the council and persuaded Angelo to get her his address. She arrived to find him packing up to leave and he told her he had been wrong and had resigned because he was embarrassed. She was left feeling foolish until Angelo told her he'd checked Murray's bank records and $20,000 had been paid into his account...it seemed he had been bought off.
Belle was then contacted by Enid Clay, who told her that her husband Arthur, a former member of the council, was ill in hospital and wanted to speak to her. He explained that the council had been in financial strife back in the 1960s and had taken money from a company to dump the waste in an area that was supposed to be listed as unsuitable for development and that the records listed it as general landfill. Having heard about the development, he was willing to tell the police everything. Belle persuaded Angelo to come to the hospital with her to take a statement but when they arrived they Arthur had suffered a massive stroke and he died before he could repeat his story. Belle related the incident to Alf, who trusted Arthur's word and suggested she contact Gary Rogers, a long-serving council records officer, for information. He proved unhelpful however and when she sneaked into the storeroom to find the records for herself, she found that everything from 1965, the year the waste was dumped, had been removed
Belle asked Aden to help her break into the development office but he refused and she was horrified when he then took a job at the site, fearing that he and the other workers were in danger. He eventually agreed to help her but they aborted the attempt at a very early stage when they were spotted by a security guard and had to pose as a courting couple. Aden later found a map in the office with an area marked with a strange code, which differed from the one issued to the workers. He managed to get Belle a copy but before she could properly examine it she received a call saying Aden had been injured at work. She rushed to the development to be informed by the foreman, Tim Coleman, that there had been no accident and Aden had been laid off. When she returned home, she found that someone had broken into her room and taken the map. She then received a phone call saying that if she continued the investigation she and her "boyfriend" would be harmed
As a result of the threat, Belle abandoned her investigation until A0 comentarios 53 días
