Ich über mich

I am a bleeding heart who believes in seeing the good in all people, no matter how strange. I feel we all have the potential for good inside us. I am pretty spiritual, though I don't claim to be with one religion. I would say I believe in God and all his humble servants who have come and gone on this planet for service to the human race. My God is a combination of Light, Love, and Energy, which then creates your Soul. That is 'my' official Trinity. Though if you had to peg me to a religion, I would have to say I'm a Jewish Christian, who believes in reincarnation, aliens, ghosts, chakras and astral planes and such. I just call it all Trina-ism, after my name! There are so many ways to live in the Spirit. You don't even have to be religious to live in the Spirit.

I also love music like crazy. All music. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Sir Bob after a concert of his in Vancouver. It was so inspiring! Check out my movie on my videos. It will freak you out...

Music

U2, Travis, Coldplay, Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Simple Minds, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Geldolf, Prince, some Madonna, NIN, Stone Temple Pilots, Dandy Warhols, Alanis Morrisette, Cat Stevens, Joni Mitchel, Gordon Lightfoot, and my favorite classical music is Carmina Burana - Oh Fortuna, and so much more, I can't even list it all. All music speaks to me in a really strange way, and I just love it all. I really dig lots of local music here in Vancouver, too.I almost hate putting anything down, because it discounts something I missed. I could write for 20 years about the music that has moved me over my lifetime. Each one meant something to me at that time.

Movies

Lord of the Rings, Being There, L.A. Story, Life is Beautiful, Matrix stuff, Star Wars, old stuff, gangster movies like the Godfather, spiritual movies like Conversations with God, Pay it Forward, movies that triumph over evil, yet still shows that evil has a complicated reason for being evil. No gore. Mystery or thriller is good, though. And really stupid silly movies with Ben Stiller, Will Ferrel, etc. Anchorman, Meet the Parents, etc. Romantic movies like the Notebook, When Harry met Sally, Musical movies, like the Doors, Sexy men and such. I like it all. Some artistic movies are great, like Baraka. Again, like music I could go on forever. Sharkwater about the environment, a must see. Dances with Wolves. Blood Diamond. Documentaries, The People versus John Lennon, Gandhi, etc. And fun stuff, too. ET, Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind, Jim Jarmasch, Gus Van Sant, Julie Taymor, Across the Universe!, Europa Europa, Cinema Paradiso, Like Water for Chocolate. Michael Moore.

Sports

I just favor bike riding myself, though I would be happy to go to a sports game if my soulmate is totally into it. I 'm sure it would be fun with the crowd and all and cheering them on! I really enjoy being out on a boat. I want to get into kayaking from time to time. The odd hike would be lovely. I love dancing, too.

Scared Of

Not meeting my soulmate before any more important people in my family die...I've experienced great loss, and I just want to meet my soulmate and welcome him into my family before any more people that I love dearly have to pass on. Kind of wierd, I know. But that is my greatest fear...after that, maybe being hit by a car on my bike. I guess I'm also scared that someone will think that drugs are a good thing because of my movie. I hate drugs. I don't do them. But if alcohal and cigarettes are legal, I think pot should be, too. I don't even like it, but I feel it should be regulated and taxed and used only in certain areas, like the cafes in Amsterdam. Just my opinions, mind you. All three of those substances cause huge problems in our world when abused. But that is my opinion, none the less.

Happiest When

being with good friends and family, laughing, being crafty, biking in nature, listening and singing to music, making cookies, having parties, dressing up, going out on the town, or out in the country. Sometimes I like to be spoiled, too, the whole works! I used to feel guilty about doing stuff like that but not anymore. It's a balance of give and recieve you must strive for in your life. I like going to music concerts, travelling, plays, comedy, lots of stuff, really. I'm calling myself God's princess, and I even bought a ring to marry myself. I've taken a vow of chastity and I am not getting physical with any men until I meet my soulmate. Yes, I'm a little wierd. Life in all of entirety gives me pleasure and happiness. It is a joyous experience, especially if we surround ourselves with the right people and experiences. Honestly? The simple things like flowers and kitty cats and fresh fallen snow give me joy

TV

Not much but a few things I like: The Office, both versions, 30 rock, Arrested Development, Flight of the Conchords, True Blood, The Hour with George Strombolopolous or however you say it. Oprah, I hope to be in your audience one day and check out a cool taping! Dance with Ellen in the isles! I just love the satire of the politics it some cartoons shown at night express, though I don't agree with some of the name calling. You just couldn't get away with saying some of the underground opinions on the news. So, there are a few good things there, though I don't really watch it anymore. Too busy these days and nothing really on. I like funny stuff, too, like Mad TV, or Saturday Night live and Kids in the Hall, This Hour has 22 Minutes, Rick Mercer, etc. I love documentaries, too. I really don't watch much anymore. There was once a time when I did find a great deal of pleasure in tv, and I'm glad it was there for me at the time.

Arts

I love to create artistically. Making homemade cards, writing poetry, songs and short stories, performing on stage at open mikes, checking out local groups and poets. I love that stuff. I would love to sing one of my songs with Bono. I think that would rock. I want to save the world. I want to see Orca's in the wild, I want to bike ride everywhere, I want to check out art everywhere, I want to go to New York; there is so much I want to do, I want to meet Oprah. I want to start a foundation or charity that helps out kids in trouble, because if we can get to the kids and give them a good solid foundation, they will have a much better chance in the world. I have so many dreams and goals that I want to accomplish. And I'm ready. Bring it on! I just lost 50 pounds and now I'm going for the next round, with confidence and happiness.
