"A lot of the lyrics are about how leaps of faith can set us free or tie us down, and realizing that we often find heartache when we run from something and redemption when we run toward something," singer Chris Daughtry says.
LEAVE THIS TOWN captures the band at a crossroads. "Not to take anything away from the debut, but this record really feels like my first," Chris says.

Hey. You guys are absolutely awesome. When are you gonna be touring the UK? Especially Glasgow, Scotland? And as for supporting Nickelback, well I'm sure a lot of Daughtry fans like them but personally I think you guys are a much more talented band. If your support round the world is anything like it is in the UK then you guys will be around a long time and I hope you are. Daughtry all the way. My question for the band is How does it make you feel to see another band get a higher chart position with your song than you yourself did? Especially since you are a far superior band. Anyway you guys are awesome and keep up the good work. The world needs music like yours in todays market of manufactured crap.
