Catherine seats on the curb in totally desolation as she thinks of her former lover and now he had imprisoned her for so many centuries against her will. Now free of him she feels isolated and without direction. She is glad he is no more part of her existence but fears she does not know how to cope with this immortality curse without him. She fears she does not know much of this modern world as she had lived within a time cloud for so long all she knows was that place!
She looks up for a moment and sees from the position of the moon above it is still early in the evening. She should be out hunting for a mortal to feed on but she does not feel any hunger tonight, only complete loneliness. Feeling all is lost she gathered her thoughts and gets up. Looking at the pasting Mortals on the street she thinks to herself how lucky they are that they will soon know what death feels like. How they know they will die someday, not endlessly living a curses existence.
She starts to walk along the street and soon is surrounded by the busy Saturday night life. The light from the many club door faces beam on her and add some color to her pale completion. She soon blinks as it causes some pain in her weary eyes. She moves on and soon comes to the dark empty streets of the east district where the famous Catholic Church lies. She is not relionish in any way and does not wish to. She was sired way before Jesus Christ was born into this world. Catherine could never understand his appeal and found these modern churches dark and haunting places to anyone to worship in compare to the many lively temples of ancient Rome these were to lacking in colorful decor and lively chanting music!
Catherine faces the entrance for just a moment and sees through the wide open doorway a woman all dressed in black and with raven black hair down her back looking at her! Catherine realizes this woman is Raven, her friend from her mortal youth. Catherine does not know how she found her after all these centuries but is surprises to see she has not ages on day since that last encounter at her father's house. Without thinking she enters the church and walks down the ile. Soon facing Raven, Catherine speaks " Raven, why are you here?!"
Raven replies " I Have comes to be your guide in this world...!" ......

To Raven

It been a tough few months without you by my side. I know now I have done bad by you and for that I am truly sorry. I hope someday you will forgive me and return to me were ever you may be now. I know you can feel my sorrow over this whole situation but I know that you still need time and I will give you that as long you need it.

I thought these days were over when I felt there was no point to this mere existence but it seems I was wrong, very wrong. I have not felt this way in so long. It has been a difficult year but I believed these feeling of loneliness had gone from my heart. I thought her love would rid me of my pains but it seems her undying love is not enough. It seems I was not made for this immortality. I wish now to be made Mortal again. I feel thought it is too late as I have become the flesh which created man!
I wished there was a true God to save my tortured “soul” from this confusing gift which was placed in me against my will. I believed at first I was blessed with what was given to me by Larik pricked Organ but now I only feel utter concept for what he has done to me. I know he had a purpose for “This” but if he could inform me better in what that is, I might see some reason for my present here on this realm.
I do not know how to express how I feel to my beloved Raven, who has done nothing but help me cope with my new abilities. I hope she will forgive me to wanting to return to my people. I do not wish to be dragged further along as I feel the battle is truly now upon us. May Lilith save man from the waft of Lucifer’s Hand, that yet to be known. So as for me I will step aside and experience it as the common man will, unaware that everything is about to change for worse!
