- Tony T was born in Auckland and raised in Oatra. His love for singing became apparent as a youngster in the church choir. Later, he and his family members set up the family band That’s Us and went on to win Battle of The Bands. then formed another band called EMPTY ROOMZ which he still has today. In the ‘90’s Tony formed the band D-FACTION and produced the hit song Down In The Boondocks.
Tony also co-produced the number one hit To sir with love, with Fijian singing sensation Ngaire. this song still remains new zealands 9th biggest selling single in history turning him into a bit of a remake king.
But it’s not all about singing for Tony who was lead guitarist for one of New Zealand’s outstanding band Ardijah.

MY NIUE (ALBUM
Well fakaalofa lahi atu kia mutolu oti
the album is finally out not that its my first album as some of you know but i must
say bumping into my cuzzy bro two months ago was the turning point in terms of step in the
right direction for me musically with KILA studio and KILA engineer PUNA and KILA writer VELA
what a combination hence the finish product you now hear or click on a track now if you havent already
i used to record and release my early material on home studio but was never fully satisfied with
the quality of drums etc
but that has changed leaps and bounds
i feel more so now than ever that the skys the limit from here on in and boy are the creative juices flowing
recording my niue was started off with dusting off my old niue releases then recording them better but once i done what i needed to redo i wrote sunny daze one morning over a bowl of
honey puffs (highly recommend for writing songs) haha
well that was the turning point for me because there were no rules but just writing from the heart with a mixture of niue and english after all was born and bred here so with english being my first language we havent done to bad aye.
I sincerely hope you like the tracks posted and hope you purchase an album so i can by some new undies as mine are all worn out EEEEEEEEE
thats what for now till i get more energy from my moro see you soon
