- Following the successful launch of Europe’s first Thomas Land last year, Drayton Manor Theme Park kicked off the 2009 season with a brand new £1 million attraction - a 4D cinema.
The state-of-the-art 152 seat theatre will feature numerous immersive special effects to create an unforgettable experience for all the family. As well as seats that move, slide and rumble in sync with the action on screen, water spray, air blasts, leg ticklers, aroma, low smoke and bubbles released at key moments will add to the excitement.
Swash buckling adventure, The Curse of Skull Rock, crowned winner of the Best Children’s Animated Film award at the prestigious Stuttgart Film Festival, will be the first feature to be shown.
