He may have wowed the judges with his smooth sax playing and smouldering good looks – but Britain’s Got Talent star Julian Smith impressed someone much more important with his debonair style – the lovely lady in his life.

The Birmingham hopeful credits his wife with persuading him to enter the competition. He shouldn’t be surprised - if anyone knows the power of his on-stage performance, it should be the glamorous Iraz.

The pair met when Iraz saw Julian performing. Says Julian, “I think she was attracted to the music in the early stages”.

“My wife saw me play, and although she didn’t speak to me for a while eventually we had a conversation…”

And proud dad Julian explained, “My family is so important. I entered Britain’s Got Talent because I want to make life better for them”.
