- We are Danny Cockroach, all 116 years old, an alternative/soft/hard/medium/
classic/jazz/funk/metal/solo/
crap rock band from Edinburgh, Scotland, Cambodia. We draw many diverse musical influences and our own unique style into our vibrant and colourful pallet of music as we fuse rhythmic and harmonic sounds into an innovative pool of musical structure, transcending genres as we aim for our true majestically musical objective... complete and total world domination. In our long cobbled path to where we find ourselves now, we have dived deeply into styles as unfamiliar and diverse as jazz-funk, metal, rock, country, comedy, crap and we are not afraid to write whatever we like, no matter the genre or physical limitations. We hope you too will enjoy our music and perhaps come and visit us at our official site or perhaps at our forum.

- Recently pruchased an Aria Bass, much better than his previous instrument. Duncan is powered by a Fender 15W he thinks but he normally uses at practice, a big uber 100W amp!

- currently bangs a Tama Rockstar kit, Pearl-Eliminater kick Pedal, Zildjian K-Custom Crash, pearl hard-ware and bangs with vater sticks

Bebo Bands
As you can see, we got a bebo bands thing. But just remember, we had this page before they even thought of the idea. Bebo are just jumping on the Danny Cockroach bandwagon, of that I am sure. They saw how unbearably cool we were and thought "we must make a bands section so that we can feature this amazingly radge band". As soon as we get the page up to scratch, I'm sure they will stick us on the front page.... yes...
Remember folks, we did it first!

Leith Festival... success!
A fantastic evening at the Duncan place Resource centre, kicked off with the 'Beat It' Samba band, closely followed by the '313', for some ultra smooth R n'B and rapping. Some brilliant musical covers were soon thrashed out such was 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', and 'School of Rock', followed by a sombre accoustic performance of 'When 'I Come Around' by Green Day. To finish off the evening with a bang, Danny Cocroach pounded through an electric half hour set, with guest musician and good friend Craig MacDonald blasting out the brass section of 'Till the Cows Come Home' to finish off the fantastic evening.
All thanks go to Rohan, for allowing us to take part and help keep the DPRC open for the public to come and hear the quality music that Leith and Edinburgh have to offer.1 Kommentar 1265 Tage
