- I thought it was time for an update as most of the blurb I had on here was soooo 2007!
So, what's changed since last time? Well, despite my best efforts to stop the clock, I woke up one morning and I was 30. It doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would, but it still takes me by surprise when I see it written down. However, my friend Katy who is whole day older than me tells me that 30 is the new 21, so I'm going with that theory.
Apart from that, it seems like same shit, different year! My main achievement over the last 12 months would be converting my spare room from a rubbish tip to somewhere someone can actually sleep! It might not sound like much, but it took a week and a lot of help from Mr McD!!
Still in the same job, I've been with the same company for 8 years now. Surely that deserves some kind of medal? Or psych help perhaps...

- Music
- I love music. If I was any good, it would be my career, but I'm not, so I make do with it being a hobby. I'll listen to almost anything but I draw the line at R&B on the basis that it's just shite.
- Films
- I change my mind everytime I see a new film. Of those I've seen recently, 'Atonement' really blew me away. Almost brought a tear to my eye and I'm the kind of heartless sod that only cries at the death of a relative or close friend.
- Sports
- Yep - I think I did a sport once. Didn't like it much! Can be fun to watch with a few beers tho.
- Scared Of
- Snakes. I've still not worked out what they're for. They're pointless and scary.
- Happiest When
- Not at work and when spending time with friends and family, relaxing with a small glass of red wine/gin/whisky (aye, I mean the good stuff, none of that Grouse pish water)

I'm good Not started on the lessons yet, just completed my 40 hours teacher training yesterday though so it takes about 2 weeks for all the paperwork to come through then I'm allowed my car 
Got loads of summer concerts going on??? Any trips away????

I wrote something else to you, but it didnt send, so now you can get the short version-
I got acepted for working abroad this summer!!! not sure where yet, that gets sent to sunny aberdeen in the next 2 days. But i am lucky - there are normally hundreds, if not thousands of applicants, and this year they say there was double! With only one place per country! WOOP!
So i'll have like a 2 week break in the UK before jetting off again i think! -

Up to much this weekend? got bugger all days left to study, so crapping myself alot. lol. So much to learn, so little time!!! So gather i will be revising all weekend.
Never mind, on Friday i should find out plans for Sweden. You know how many people have already planned to come visit me. lol.

I finish up tomorrow. Been here 4 years so got an alright wee package from them and I have decided to train to become a driving instructor Does that seem weird thinking of me doing that Have started the course already and its pretty hard going!!!

I emailed your mum and dad - dunno if they got it?? I got their email from the one Jo sent with Caitlins school pictures, could you ask them for me please???? It was thanking them for my birthday so I really hope they did get it
