So after losing 15 points at the start of the season due to the Football League, and in particular Mawhinny being a bunch of twats - the season ended on a high with the mighty whites making it to Wembley for the playoff finals and the chance to get up to the Championship. Leeds at Wembley? Theres no chance me and Fox were miossin that - loyal supporters til we die!

So the journey started on Saturday night. Havin worked all day I got myself ready for the 9 hour megabus wiv Fox down to London - balls up number one - the bus he got in Dundee wasn't stopping in edinburgh - he was away down the west of the country! So jumped on the bus by myself at half ten and off we went. Every other hippy, commoner and yank that was using the bus had shit loads of luggage - me - i had a flag, a scarf and a sandwich! Note i still didnt have a ticket for the game!

1.00am - reached Newcastle and laughed at all the dirty Geordie slappers wandering the streets. Fell asleep for a wee bit after that.

3.00am - woke up in Wakefield and met some other Leeds fans. Bit of banter wiv them until we were ordered to be quiet! That lasted til we reached Sheffield and a few more joined us. then they got serious wiv us! Once again i sank into sleep.

6.00am - woke up utterly confused jus outside Luton. It was pissing it down. Not ideal wen i only had a shirt on! Saw a few sights on the way into a wet and soggy capital.

7.00am - arrive at London Victoria and see Fox wandering about aimlessly lookin worse than i feel! He'd arrived a few minutes before me havin had no sleep on his bus! Found ourselves some toilets and freshened up a wee bit. Who'd have thought you would ever actually want to see a bog goblin but no such joy! We set off in the search of a boozer and some breakfast - surely in this 24 hour city - wiv the much publicised 24 hour drinking we would find somewhere. We headed for the underground and towards Piccadily Circus.

7.30am - we were wrong. we were the only buggers in the whole city it seemed. And it was still raining! We got a few photos and carried on our search - down past Chinatown and towards Leicester Square but still no joy so back on the Underground and to Euston to get Fox's tickets home for the night. Again the pub there wasn't open so we went to Kings Cross to meet the rest of the Leeds on their way down on the trains.

8.00am - a wee bite of breakfast and a big poo later and we were back in the game. Quite a few leeds around - no Donny fans yet - but some Hull still hangin about from the day before and a good wee atmosphere. the superbly named Duke of York pub in the station was our aim but it didn't open til 10 so we nipped next door to the newsagent and like the common football hooligans we are bought tins of . . . Tennents - yep we're Jocks through and through now!

10.00am - pub opening time - or so we think. We're front of the que wiv money in hand ready to get the first round in wen lo and behold they decide that the station is on a high security alert due to the number of Leeds fans milling about and thus the pub wouldn't be opened! Scumbags. We befriended some Donny fans then - the only ones we'd seen all day - and they gave us beer - always a good start! Headed round the corner to St Pancreas and a rather smart bar which did let us in. Scarf and flags went up on the wall and a wee crowd of about 20 leeds and our 2 new donny friends started the boozin proper!

11.00am - the singin started up and the owner wasn't happy - threatening to kick us out! We quietened down and i continued a search for a ticket. Got a few numbers of the guys we were wiv in the hope they could find one.

11.45am - got a call from the lads to say all the Leeds were in baker Street and there was a great atmosphere. We headed off but decided to go straight to Wembley. On the tube and i feel for any members of the public using the service cos it was full of fans and the singin was loud and proud - often led by yours truly!!!

Roll up roll up to the best festival of last summer, back wiv us for 2008!!!

June 7th and 8th.

On board so far are myself, Fox and Davie Mun. Get right involved. Last year was jus a warm up wiv far too much mincing so only true dance heads who intend to do it properly can come!!! No leaving early, no air beds, and full involvement in the end of festival fire this time!!!
