- Scars on 45 are a 6 piece acoustic/indie band from Bradford, UK. As well as putting the finishing touches to their debut album (due for an early 2010 release) the band have found many of their tracks being used for popular TV shows in the States, including the demo of 'Beauty's Running Wild' being used in CSI: New York.
Despite spending most of the time recording in their studio (in the basement of a haunted church no less!), Scars have also built up a solid live following, with tours of South Africa and a UK tour with Starsailor under their belt.

Quick update!
So....the album's in its final stages now. Just re-doing a few piano parts and some edits then we're pretty much off to mix. All getting ready for an exciting 2010...we're so excited! Can't wait to get gigging and touring again.
It's been a long old slog getting this album out but we're really happy with how it's going and can't wait for everyone to hear it!

Scars Update!
Sorry we've been a bit quiet lately but you'll soon see why! We've also been hard at work in the studio re-recording Beauty's Running Wild for the album and also doing some new tracks, one of has been provisionally named 'Warning Sign.' Both of these should hopefully make it on to the album when it is released. Watch this space in the next few weeks for news on that front...
We're now busy rehearsing a gig at The Faversham in Leeds on 21st and are all very excited. It'll be our first gig for the public in ages so we're working hard to get some new tracks in the set and make sure it's going to be an amazing night!
Thanks to everyone for all your support. Things are taking a long time to come together but were positive it will all be worth it. We'll be out there playing shows and releasing albums very soon!!
