      I was on an ARRIVA 300 Paisley-Clydebank via Erskine, it was just passing through the industrial estate next to the airport. Anyway, we stopped at the first stop and this fat guy notices the bus. When I say fat I mean 25 stone material. Anyway he comes "charging" towards the bus, obviously running with all his might (about 6mph), and just as he gets to the bus the doors slam shut and it drives off. Me and my mate shook our fists at him in gleeful victory, and cheered the driver on.

      Anyway, if anyone knows this route, you will know there is a bus stop every 150 yards or so. There was 2 or 3 people for each one, so we had to keep stopping. Anyway, the fatty persists, and begins chase again. The bus stops at the next stop, picks up the passangers, and we are almost pissing ourselves laughing as we watch the fatty approach the bus again at warp 9.

      Again, the bus pulls off - yet the fatty does not give up. Now I will take this opportunity to remind everyone here that this was an hourly service, which was always late... meaning he would be waiting 80 minutes on the next one if he was lucky.

      So this carries on for five more stops, untill eventually we leave the industrial estate. The best part was that just as we went round the last corner, the fatty kealed over and was sick everywhere. Just as this happened, the driver beeped his horn proudly - mission accomplished.

      It was a fine fine day.

      Ahoy shipmate. Was good to see this weekend? Where u sail to in August? Think I'm away to the gulf straight away but won't know untill another 3 or 4 weeks yet what ship I'm getting.
